Alfred Dorfer brings GLEICH to the Munich Lustspielhaus

When Alfred Dorfer takes the stage, everyday life suddenly gains sharp contours. On Wednesday, October 21, 2026, the Austrian cabaret artist presents his current solo program GLEICH at the Lustspielhaus Munich – a satirical one-man theater with rapid role changes, wicked humor, and pointed social observation.

A thinker with precise timing

Dorfer combines stand-up, cabaret, and acting into his own unique form of theater. In GLEICH, he elegantly slips into different characters and transforms everyday contradictions into comedic experiments. The timing is spot on, and the punchlines come not with a sledgehammer, but often with that Austrian nonchalance that makes the hit noticeable just a second later.

Bitterly funny satire meets playful joy

The comedy atmosphere thrives on Dorfer's keen observational skills and his distinctive stage presence. Nothing and no one is safe from his unexpected trains of thought. Social trends, human quirks, and political absurdities land with him where cabaret is strongest: right in the audience and directly under the humor muscles.

An evening with an award-winning cabaret artist

Alfred Dorfer is one of the defining voices in the German-speaking cabaret scene. For his work, he has received, among other awards, the German Kleinkunstpreis, the Bavarian Cabaret Prize, and the Swiss Cornichon Cabaret Prize. He is also known as an actor, author, director, and host of the satirical TV show Dorfers Donnerstalk.

What the audience can expect at the Lustspielhaus

The evening begins at 20:00, with doors opening at 18:00. At the Munich Lustspielhaus, intense audience reactions, clever satire, and a stage artist who precisely brings his characters to life with a few gestures come together. Additionally, the venue's gastronomy offers food and drinks for a thoroughly entertaining evening.

Conclusion: Cabaret with brains and a strong bite

GLEICH promises a laughter experience for all who appreciate comedy not just loud but also smart. Anyone wanting to experience Alfred Dorfer live should secure this evening at the Lustspielhaus Munich – because some punchlines simply work better on stage than in the quiet of one’s room.
