When Rome Meets Bavaria: Björn Puscha with rom.antik at the Community Center
A Bavarian with a penchant for the ancient meets the present – and opens a surprising space between the warmth of the tavern, world history, and subtle cabaret. On Tuesday, October 27, 2026, Björn Puscha presents his solo program rom.antik at the Munich Community Center. Doors open at 6:00 PM, performance starts at 7:30 PM.
Antiquity Meets Present
The dramaturgy of rom.antik thrives on perspective shifts. Björn Puscha talks about a today that constantly demands novelty while repeatedly stumbling over old rules: duty, moderation, and determination still stand in the doorway – friendly but uninvited. From this friction, a cabaret evening emerges about order and disorder, longing and humanity.
Tavern Warmth with a World-Historical Perspective
The staging combines the intimacy of a small stage with the intellectual horizon of antiquity. Between linguistic play, Bavarian observation, and historical allusions, a theatrical atmosphere arises where big questions emerge in the midst of everyday life. Even a harmless drink can turn into a cultural battle, while a shoelace left untied becomes a moment of pause.
Cabaret with a Latin Resonance Space
As a cabaret artist and stage Latinist, Björn Puscha brings his unique connection to language, history, and acting to the stage. His work at the Munich Community Center dates back to his early performances at Blickpunkt Spot. The energy between stage and audience forms the core of his stage experience: pointed, playful, and open to surprising twists.
An Evening for Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow
rom.antik does not forcefully resolve opposites, but gives them space. It is precisely from this that the production derives its comedic and human power. The audience can expect a lively solo that spans cabaret, linguistic art, and cultural-historical imagination – with an acoustic that lives from the spoken word and a stage presence that sets thoughts in motion.
Conclusion: Ancient Insights with Bavarian Humor
Björn Puscha's rom.antik promises an extraordinary cabaret evening at the Munich Community Center: witty, warm-hearted, and full of quirky transitions between Rome and Schwabing. Anyone wanting to experience theater atmosphere, clever satire, and playful linguistic joy live will find an evening with a unique signature here.
