Comedy Kills: Munich's Open Mic with Laughter Guarantee
When Friday night calls for punchlines instead of small talk, the DiscoBox at Maximiliansplatz transforms into a stage for stand-up comedy. At Comedy Kills, comedy newcomers and seasoned professionals come together to present their latest jokes – live, direct, and with that thrilling unpredictability that makes an open mic a special laughter experience.
New Jokes, Bold Performances and Real Stage Risk
No one is safe in the comedy seat here: the artists test fresh material in front of an audience, refine punchlines, and play with timing, interaction, and surprising twists. This is exactly what creates the special comedy atmosphere of the evening. Each performance has its own rhythm – sometimes razor-sharp, sometimes wonderfully quirky, but always immediate.
Stand-up Comedy in the Heart of Munich
The DiscoBox at Maximiliansplatz provides the perfect setting for an evening with club lights, stage energy, and plenty of room for spontaneous audience reactions. The show is moderated by Alexander Profant. The evening lasts about two hours and offers a varied mix of German-language stand-up, new faces, and experienced voices from the Munich comedy scene.
From the First Laughter to the Party Night
Doors open at 20:00, and the show starts at 20:15. The event primarily offers standing places; some seating is available on a first come, first serve basis. After the show, the evening continues in the DiscoBox: The party night starts at 22:30 – first punchlines, then dance floor, making for a pretty efficient Friday.
Conclusion: Laugh Live Before the Joke Hits the Internet
Comedy Kills offers stand-up comedy with an open ending, fresh ideas, and a stage presence that no streaming algorithm can replace. For those looking to discover new talents, experience bold punchlines, and get to know Munich from its loud laughing side, this is an energy-filled comedy evening. Secure your tickets and be there live.
