Comedy Kills: Munich's Open Mic with Maximum Laughter Potential
When Friday night in Munich craves new jokes, the DiscoBox transforms into a stage for stand-up comedy with a guarantee of surprises. At Comedy Kills, comedy newcomers and experienced professionals come together to present their latest punchlines, observations, and stage ideas.
New Jokes, Short Sets, and Real Live Risk
Open Mic means: No one quite knows what will happen next – and that's the appeal. Artists test fresh material, refine their timing, and respond directly to the audience's reactions. Each performance has its own rhythm, from dry storytelling to spontaneous interaction.
Stand-up Comedy in a Club Atmosphere
The comedy atmosphere of the DiscoBox brings the laughter experience close to the audience. Club lights, standing room feeling, and quick punchlines create an immediate stage dynamic. The evening is hosted by Alexander Profant, who guides through the changing line-up and gives the evening the right tempo.
From Beginner to Professional
Comedy Kills thrives on the mix: New jokes emerge before the audience's eyes, while seasoned comedians sharpen their strongest ideas. This makes the evening varied, unpredictable, and particularly close to the Munich comedy scene. Those who enjoy stand-up, cabaret, and spontaneous stage moments get entertainment without a safety net.
After the Show, the Night Continues
After the comedy program, the DiscoBox remains open. The party night starts at 10:30 PM – ideal for anyone who doesn’t want to go home after the last punchlines.
Conclusion: Laugh Live, Before the Joke Becomes Famous
Comedy Kills offers an immediate laughter experience with new faces, experienced stage professionals, and plenty of surprises. Those who want to experience Munich's stand-up scene up close should secure a standing spot and witness comedy where punchlines are still being created.
