GTD Comedy Slam in Munich: When punchlines compete for the trophy
On October 3, 2026, the Schlachthof Munich will transform into an arena for stand-up, cabaret, and ruthless audience reactions. At the GTD Comedy Slam, at least four comedians face off against each other, each having a maximum of ten minutes to impress with their own jokes, strong timing, and maximum stage presence.
Ten minutes of fame or ten minutes of regret
Every punchline counts here. Reading from notes is forbidden, outside jokes are left at the door, and the clock ticks mercilessly. This creates a comedy atmosphere filled with genuine competitive fever: One line lands, the audience laughs, and the next comedian is ready to go. Stand-up in its most direct form – fast, spontaneous, and pleasantly unpredictable.
The audience decides
The decision is not made behind closed doors but right in the hall. Audience reaction determines who prevails and wins the quirky winner's trophy. Whether it's best goalkeeper, prettiest St. Bernard, or most active rabbit: the prize adapts to the variety of eBay classifieds and makes the evening ultimately a charming comedy absurdity.
Newcomers, professionals, and a gaglord at the microphone
Host and gaglord Andy Sauerwein leads the evening and brings order to the friendly state of exception. The Gag Test Dummies organize the comedy competition in numerous cities. Over 100 comedians participate each year, while the winners qualify for further finals.
Live comedy with a real laughing experience
The GTD Comedy Slam combines the direct contact of a comedy club with the pressure of a sports competition. Different humor styles collide, the audience reacts immediately, and each act has its own dramaturgy. Those who love cabaret, stand-up, and fresh punchlines will experience an evening filled with high speed and lots of interaction.
Conclusion: Munich votes
The GTD Comedy Slam offers no pre-packaged laughter, but live comedy with risk, timing, and surprising twists. Those who want to see which talents make the Schlachthof shake should secure their evening and help decide who takes home the trophy.
