Monika Gruber brings laughter to Circus Krone

After her break from the stage, Monika Gruber returns to Munich with her new cabaret program It’s not that bad. On Tuesday, October 27, 2026, the sharp-tongued Bavarian cabaret artist transforms Circus Krone into a stronghold of punchlines, everyday madness, and hedonistically unreasonable joy of life.

Bavarian humor with a sharp edge

Monika Gruber combines stand-up, cabaret, and pointed social observation into an unmistakable laughing experience. Her stage presence thrives on direct interaction, precise timing, and audience reactions that oscillate between hearty laughter and appreciative head-shaking. Politics, media, everyday life, and Bavarian lifestyle receive exactly the satirical treatment that leaves no faux pas uncommented.

When a seagull has more drama than the family chat

In the program, the Gruber tells about the small and large absurdities of life. An intrusive seagull encounters Charlène of Monaco, a Thai trio massage leads mentally to the regulatory office, and the prosecco shower suddenly appears more sensible than morning ice bathing. This is narrative cabaret with a sharp eye, high tempo, and a decent portion of Bavarian grumpiness.

Common sense meets mainstream

It’s not that bad is a plea for more joy of life and the hedonistically unreasonable. Monika Gruber disassembles social rules, modern impositions, and familiar everyday situations until the annoyance turns into liberating laughter. Her punchlines are not random: the interplay of stage routine, interaction, and strong timing creates a comedy atmosphere that feels particularly immediate live.

An evening at Circus Krone

The Circus Krone building at Marsstraße 43 provides the perfect setting for this cabaret evening. Doors open at 6:30 PM, and the show starts at 7:30 PM. The event is expected to end around 10:00 PM. Munich will experience an evening full of stories, biting observations, and that unmistakable Gruber energy, where even common sense takes a brief break.

Anyone who loves Bavarian cabaret, witty stand-up comedy, and pointed stories will experience an evening full of laughter, surprising twists, and great stage presence with Monika Gruber.
