Punchlines between common sense and hedonistic absurdity

After her break, the cabaret artist returns with a program that highlights everyday insanity. Monika Gruber talks about small absurdities, big outrages, and the remarkable ability of modern humans to turn even a simple everyday situation into an administrative drama.

A comedy powerhouse with perfect timing

Gruber's comedy thrives on direct language, Bavarian charm, and precise timing. As a witty storyteller, she combines stand-up elements with classic cabaret and societal observation. The topics include an intrusive seagull, Charlène of Monaco, a Thai threesome massage with consequences for the public order office, and the question of why coffee service and beaver bed linen should be better gifts for First Communion than cash.
