Torsten Sträter brings a darkly humorous travel mood to Munich with The Cyclopes of Saint-Tropez
When a beige man in black sees red on the road, the evening really begins for Torsten Sträter. On Thursday, October 8, 2026, the award-winning comedian will perform his new program The Cyclopes of Saint-Tropez at Circus Krone. Doors open at 6:30 PM, and the show starts at 7:30 PM.
Stand-up with depth, dry humor, and perfect timing
Sträter's comedy thrives on dry sarcasm, warm-hearted self-irony, and a voice that can make even a toaster manual sound like great literature. His punchlines do not come with a sledgehammer but with precise timing, casual stage presence, and that laconic view of the world that first makes the audience smirk and then collectively burst out laughing.
A journey between high language, dough, and cooked animals
The Cyclopes of Saint-Tropez is broadly about traveling – through the world, through everyday life, and probably also through the upper crust of human thinking. Sträter combines absurd observations, literary wordplay, and pointed social comedy into a distinctive laughter experience. His educational mission sounds so suspiciously silly that even the most serious audience reaction quickly turns into laughter.
Comedy atmosphere at Circus Krone
Circus Krone provides the striking setting for an evening full of cabaret, stand-up, and immediate interaction with the audience. Amid red velvet and a grand ring, Sträter's stage presence unfolds its special effect: calmly initiated, sharply formulated, and with a dramaturgy that transforms small everyday observations into great comedic scenes.

Conclusion: The Cyclopes of Saint-Tropez promise a quirky journey through Sträter's world of thoughts – between absurd wordplay, dark humor, and warm-hearted self-irony. Comedy fans should not miss this live experience at Circus Krone.
