When Paragraphs Suddenly Become Roaringly Funny
On Thursday, November 5, 2026, Werner Koczwara will bring his acclaimed legal cabaret On the Eighth Day, God Created the Lawyer to the TamS Theater in Munich. The evening combines sharp observation, linguistic precision, and dark humor into an extraordinary concert experience without music but with perfect timing and pointed stage performance.
The Paragraph as a Comedic Stage Figure
Werner Koczwara targets the unintentional comedy of legal language. Between the Ten Commandments, the American Declaration of Independence, and absurd regulations, a linguistic labyrinth emerges where every punchline strikes with legal precision. His orchestration of wordplay, rhythm, and surprising thought leaps transforms dry legal texts into highly comedic cabaret.
A Classic of German Cabaret
The program premiered in 2000 and is one of the longest-running cabaret shows in Germany. Koczwara developed a unique genre of legal cabaret that combines social observation, political satire, and linguistic craftsmanship. Critics have praised his rhetorical brilliance and ability to create an evening full of unexpected twists from the seemingly dry material of jurisprudence.
Live Atmosphere at the TamS Theater
The TamS Theater creates an immediate connection between the stage and the audience due to its intimate size. Every nuance of Koczwara's voice, every pause, and every precisely delivered punchline reaches the hall directly. The audience's mood thrives on the interplay between concentrated listening, astonished laughter, and liberating dark comedy.
A Distinguished Cabaret Artist with Perfect Timing
Werner Koczwara has received several awards, including the Kleinkunstpreis Salzburger Stier, the Silver Rose of Monaco, and the Baden-Württemberg Kleinkunstpreis. As an author, he has worked for programs like Do You Understand Fun?, the Harald Schmidt Show, and Wetten, dass..?. His stage experience is evident in a precise directing of language, gesture, and dramatic escalation.
Conclusion: A Must-Attend Event for Smart Satire
Visitors can expect an energetic cabaret evening about laws, logic, and the wonderfully absurd sides of human coexistence. Those who love dark humor, intelligent wordplay, and pointed social satire will experience Werner Koczwara particularly intensely at the TamS Theater. Secure your seat and experience the classic live in Munich.
