Body Music at Gasteig HP8: When Your Own Body Becomes an Instrument
On Wednesday, October 28, 2026, Hall X at Gasteig HP8 will transform into an open sound space for collective singing, grooving, and experimentation. In Body Music, melodies and rhythms are created without sheet music and instruments – directly from voice, movement, and body percussion.
Rhythm that Touches the Skin
Clemens Künneth introduces body percussion, while Rahel Comtesse brings in elements of vocal improvisation. Clapping, stomping, voices, and movement come together to create a vibrant musical orchestration that emerges in the moment.
Together Instead of Just Listening
Body Music is designed as a participatory format for people with a joy for playing, curiosity, and a desire for new musical experiences. The group develops groovy patterns, reacts to one another, and experiences how simple impulses grow into a collective stage performance. Each edition remains unique and unrepeatable due to the spontaneous synchronization of participants.
Open Evening for Everyone
The offering is aimed at anyone who wants to discover collective singing, rhythmic experimentation, and new musical terrain. The event is inclusive and also suitable for people with physical disabilities. Free tickets are available via Munich Ticket; online booking starts three days before the event.
Conclusion: Live Music to Join In
Body Music promises not just a concert from a safe distance, but an immediate concert experience filled with human connection, spontaneous sound ideas, and a special audience atmosphere. Anyone who wants to not just hear music but create it themselves will experience an evening full of rhythm, movement, and collective energy in Hall X.
