Codefendants bring their Crimewave to Munich
On Saturday, October 31, 2026, Hansa 39 in Feierwerk will be transformed into a hotspot for Punk, Hip-Hop, and Alternative. Codefendants combine raw energy, pointed lyrics, and dark humor into a cross-genre live sound that the collective itself refers to as Crimewave.
Punk aggression meets Hip-Hop attitude
Behind Codefendants are Fat Mike from NOFX, Julio Ceschi Ramos, and Sam King from Get Dead. Their music moves between powerful guitars, driving rhythms, and direct rap diction. The stage performance thrives on sharp storytelling, social friction, and an unpredictable dynamic that merges punk rock with underground hip-hop.
From the studio straight to international clubs
The trio recorded their first album This Is Crime Wave in 2023 at the studio of Baz The Frenchman in Echo Park. The single Fast Ones was created with The D.O.C. and combines the uncompromising energy of the band with a distinctive Hip-Hop focus. On tour, they have already performed at Punk Rock Holiday, Bay Fest, and Rhymefest in Los Angeles, where Codefendants shared the stage with Xzibit, Dilated Peoples, and DJ Quik.
