Dimitri Lavrentiev: Freedom – Guitar Sounds Between Virtuosity and Dream

On Sunday, October 18, 2026, Dimitri Lavrentiev transforms the Small Stage of the Pasinger Fabrik into a resonance space for classical guitar music, personal stories, and musical freedom. His concert combines original compositions from the new album with well-known classical works and takes the audience through finely shaded soundscapes.

A Guitar as a Whole Orchestra

Dimitri Lavrentiev masters his instrument with technical precision and great narrative ease. In Freedom, sparkling melodies, rhythmic energy, and warm, chamber-music colors meet. The classical guitar does not present itself as a distant solo instrument, but as an immediate voice that carries intimate moments as well as virtuosic outbursts.

Original Compositions and Classical Masterpieces

At the center of the evening are Lavrentiev's own compositions. They open spaces between concert hall, film scene, and personal imagination. The program is complemented by well-known works from the classical guitar repertoire. The dramaturgy thrives on the interplay between familiar musical reference points and surprising new perspectives.

Virtuosity with Humor and Intimacy

Lavrentiev is regarded as an exceptionally entertaining guitarist who combines musical mastery with relaxed storytelling. His training with renowned guitar pedagogues in Russia and Germany, concert collaborations with orchestras, as well as his work as a lecturer at the Leopold Mozart College of Music shape a stage art that unites experience, clarity, and joy in playing.

A Musician with an International Profile

The artist, born in 1976 in Snezhinsk, has been supported by the Yehudi Menuhin Live Music Now organization, among others. He has collaborated with the Munich Symphony Orchestra and the New Philharmonic Westphalia, is a member of the Alegrías Guitar Trio, and has participated in several film soundtracks. His recordings have been praised in the specialized press for melodic diversity, rhythmic security, and virtuosic interpretation.

The Theater Atmosphere of the Pasinger Fabrik

The Small Stage of the Pasinger Fabrik creates a focused setting for this stage experience. Between the historical traces of the former factory site and the immediate acoustics of the hall, an atmosphere is created where even the finest nuances of attack become audible. Light, space, and guitar sound combine for a musical evening of personal proximity.

Conclusion: An Evening Full of Sound Freedom

Freedom promises classical guitar music with character: virtuosic, melodic, humorous, and open to new sound images. Those who wish to experience a concert with demanding theatricality of music, immediate audience proximity, and atmospheric stage art will find a charismatic host in Dimitri Lavrentiev. Secure your tickets for an evening when the guitar tells far beyond its six strings.
