Disney in Concert 2026: Wishes and Wonders at the Olympiahalle
When the lights go out on Friday, November 6, 2026, in the Munich Olympiahalle, a musical journey through the great Disney worlds begins. The anniversary tour Wishes and Wonders combines live orchestra, expressive solo voices, and impressive film scenes on a big screen for an emotional concert experience for multiple generations.
Film music that evokes memories
Majestic sounds from The Lion King, upbeat melodies from The Jungle Book, and touching moments from The Little Mermaid lead through a program full of longing, courage, and big dreams. Musical highlights from Tangled, Coco, and Encanto are also part of the colorful Disney journey.
Hollywood Sound Orchestra meets powerful solo voices
The Hollywood Sound Orchestra brings the orchestration of the famous film songs live to the Olympiahalle. Strings, a large ensemble, and precise synchronization with the film sequences create a sound that switches between emotional ballads, powerful rhythms, and majestic film music. Announced participants include Ute Lemper, Philipp Büttner, Judith Caspari, Mark Seibert, Riccardo Greco, and Chiara Fuhrmann. Daniel Boschmann will host the evening.
Great cinema on the concert stage
The visual power of Disney films meets the immediate energy of a stage performance. Big screens, light design, and special effects enhance the audience's mood while familiar characters and melodies evoke memories. The show lasts about two hours and 20 minutes, including a break. Fog, haze, pyrotechnics, and strobe lights may be part of the production.
An evening for families and Disney fans
Disney in Concert targets a broad audience and combines musical precision with narrative magic. Children under six years of age are not permitted.
