FERRIS & SYLVESTER bring Folk, Blues and Soul to the Orangehouse
On Wednesday, October 14, 2026, the Orangehouse at Feierwerk Munich will be transformed into a club for deep emotions, honest storytelling, and handcrafted sound colors. FERRIS & SYLVESTER will perform as part of their It’s A Joy To Be Alive Tour, combining Folk, Blues, Americana and Soul into an intense live experience.
Two voices, one shared sound
Issy Ferris and Archie Sylvester met as solo musicians in the London blues club Spiritual Bar. From their musical connection, an extraordinary duo developed, whose songs are shaped by their shared life as musicians, a couple, and parents. Their music sounds personal, direct, and pleasantly unpretentious – as if someone opened a diary and turned it into a damn good song.
From the kitchen EP to the big stages
Their first joint EP Made In Streatham was created in 2018 in the kitchen of their then-apartment. This was followed by a number one on the British Spotify Viral Charts, extensive tours, and shared stages with Robert Plant. Performances at Glastonbury and SXSW, as well as being named Americana Act To Watch by Rolling Stone, underscore the international significance of the duo.
