Heaven 17 bring the synth-pop magic to Munich

On Tuesday, November 10, 2026, the Technikum in Munich's Werksviertel will transform into a resonance chamber for electronic pop history: Heaven 17 presents their Electronically Yours tour with a best-of program spanning more than four decades of British synth-pop culture.

Electronic sound architecture and great pop moments

Heaven 17 emerged in the early 1980s from the environment of The Human League. Martyn Ware, one of the founding members of the influential band, and his collaborators shaped a sound between futuristic electronics, socially critical pop, and danceable grooves. Influences from Kraftwerk combine with precise orchestration, distinctive synthesizer textures, and a clear stage performance.

Four decades of synth-pop live

With the debut album Penthouse and Pavement and the follow-up work The Luxury Gap, Heaven 17 wrote British music history. Especially the hit Temptation is one of the defining synth-pop songs of the 1980s and counts among the great audience moments of their live shows. The tour connects these classics with the energy of an experienced concert formation.

Live atmosphere in the Technikum

In the Technikum, the cool colors of electronic sound worlds meet immediate concert proximity. The audience's mood emerges between pulsating sequences, precise synchronization, and warm, nostalgic melodies. This creates a concert experience that appeals to longtime music fans as well as a younger generation rediscovering the sound of the 1980s.

An evening for fans and newcomers

Doors open at 19:00, the concert starts at 20:00. Heaven 17 promises a musical journey through their most important songs, combining electronic pioneering work with modern live energy. The Technikum is located near the Ostbahnhof and is easily accessible by S-Bahn, U-Bahn, tram, and bus.

Conclusion: Experience synth-pop classics up close

Heaven 17 brings a piece of British pop history to Munich with Electronically Yours. Anyone wanting to experience iconic synthesizers, driving grooves, and an atmospheric stage performance should not miss this evening at the Technikum.
