Italian Song Art Meets Moving Stories
On November 20, 2026, the auditorium of the Neubiberg elementary school transforms into a musical resonance space for the poetic, melancholic, and joyful side of Italy. The benefit concert "I Cantautori: Songs and Stories from Italy" combines great Italian canzoni with personal narratives and supports international youth encounters as part of Neubiberg's partnership with Ablon-sur-Seine.
A Musical Journey Through the Soul of Italy
I Cantautori dedicate themselves to the great songwriters of Italy and bring their cultural depth to life in a diverse stage performance. The program features tributes to Lucio Dalla, Francesco De Gregori, Fabrizio De André, Zucchero, Paolo Conte, and Pippo Pollina. Between poetic ballads, Mediterranean melodies, and spirited rhythms, a concert evening emerges that makes Italian music history immediately tangible.
Poetic Sound with Acoustic Intimacy
The trio led by Rocky Verardo, Andrea Paoletti, and Richie Necker focuses on musical versatility and passionate interpretation. Rocky Verardo shapes the program with vocals and keyboards, Andrea Paoletti brings his rhythmic energy to the percussion, while Richie Necker, as composer and guitarist, expands the sound body. The arrangements thrive on clear synchronization, warm acoustics, and a direct, personal sound.
From Familiar Classics to Original Compositions
“Songs and Stories from Italy” links familiar classics with original compositions. The musicians share the stories behind the creation of individual songs, their cultural significance, and the life worlds behind the lyrics. Thus, more than a concert arises: a musical narrative about language, memory, love, wanderlust, and Italy's tumultuous history.
Benefit Concert with Societal Impact
The proceeds of the evening will flow into the promotion of youth exchanges. Thus, the event connects artistic ambition with a concrete contribution to international encounters. The concert provides space for shared experiences, cultural exchange, and an audience atmosphere that resonates far beyond the last chord.
Conclusion: Experience Italy Live and Do Good
Visitors can expect an intense concert experience with poetic songs, distinctive voices, acoustic surprises, and stories from the Italian music tradition. Those who want to experience the unique live ambiance of I Cantautori while supporting international youth encounters should mark this benefit evening in Neubiberg.
