Paper Moon: Martina Eisenreich Quintet brings cinematic soundscapes to Gauting
On Sunday, October 18, 2026, the Martina Eisenreich Quintet will perform the program "Paper Moon" at the bosco Community and Cultural Center in Gauting. Starting at 8:00 PM, a musical landscape opens up between atmospheric film music, virtuosic violin, and finely nuanced ensemble sound.
When the violin tells stories
"Paper Moon" begins like a nighttime scene in the cinema: A vast landscape lies in darkness, the glowing moon becomes a symbol of departure, longing, and new love. Martina Eisenreich's violin whispers, sings, and sketches melodic lines that hover between melancholy and radiant hope.
Film music without a screen
Martina Eisenreich combines classical composition, archaic sound colors, and modern sound dramaturgy. Her music works with clear orchestration, precise synchronization, and a pronounced love for narrative detail. The quintet creates a concert experience that evokes images in the mind without needing a screen.
Virtuoso stage performance with its own character
The composer, violinist, and conductor is one of the prominent German film music creators. She has received, among others, the German Film Music Award, the Prize of the German Record Critics, the Rolf-Hans-Müller Award, and the Upper Bavaria Cultural Prize. Her works range from concert music and theater productions to award-winning film and television music.
An evening between melancholy and departure
In the interplay of the quintet, warm string colors, rhythmic impulses, and chamber music precision meet an expressive stage performance. The live atmosphere thrives on dynamic contrasts: delicate passages draw the audience into silence before the sound opens up again and flows into the room with great emotional power.
