NORTHCOTE brings Americana energy to Munich's Backstage
On Monday, October 12, 2026, NORTHCOTE will transform the Backstage Club in Munich into an intense concert evening between indie rock, Americana, and emotional songwriting. Tom Jenkins will accompany the Munich tour date as a special guest.
Between rugged warmth and great melody
Behind NORTHCOTE is Canadian musician Matthew Goud, who combines personal stories, driving guitars, and compelling vocals with his solo project. His music moves between folk rock, indie, and punk-influenced directness. At the center are songs with clear dramaturgy, striking hooks, and a stage performance that creates closeness instead of distance.
An evening with characteristic live sound
In the Backstage Club, warm guitar sounds meet powerful sound and a focused audience atmosphere. NORTHCOTE's live atmosphere thrives on the balance of acoustic intimacy and powerful band energy. The arrangements create space for emotional tension arcs, while voice and rhythm drive the concert evening forward.
Tour stop with Tom Jenkins
The Munich concert is part of a European tour in October 2026, which takes NORTHCOTE to Cologne, Münster, Hamburg, Berlin, Munich, Koblenz, and Leipzig. Tom Jenkins complements the evening as a special guest and prepares the audience for a concert full of handcrafted sounds, personal lyrics, and captivating melodies.
Live at the Backstage Club Munich
The Backstage Club is located at Reitknechtstraße 6 and is easily accessible by S-Bahn, bus, and tram. Limited free parking is available behind the Backstage area. The Backstage locations are wheelchair accessible.
