Ão represents a multi-layered sound aesthetic, where pop and electro meet Fado as well as Latin American tones. ARTE describes the band's music as a true musical melting pot. Between pulsating beats, atmospheric fields, and organic percussion, a stage performance with an international character emerges.

Four musicians, an intense live sound

The group consists of Mozambican-Portuguese singer Brenda Corijn, guitarist Siebe Chau, the electronic elements responsible Jolan Decaesteckers, and percussionist Bert Peyffers. Since 2020, Ão has been releasing versatile songs, building a growing fanbase in Belgium and beyond.

Between ambient, pop, and global rhythms

The orchestration of Ão thrives on the interplay of voice, guitar lines, electronic synchronization, and rhythmic precision.
