Peter Heppner brings his acoustic soundscape to Backstage Werk
On Tuesday, September 29, 2026, Peter Heppner transforms Backstage Werk in Munich into an atmospheric resonance space for dark synthpop, haunting melodies, and grand German music history. Together with his band, the singer presents the concert PETER HEEPNER & BAND ACOUSTIC 2026 with a reduced yet powerful live sound.
Between Synthpop and Acoustic Intensity
Peter Heppner has stood for a distinctive voice between electronics, dark wave, and melancholic pop for decades. As the frontman of Wolfsheim, he shaped the German-speaking alternative scene and celebrated sustainable successes with songs like Die Flut. His solo career led him to the German album charts with albums such as solo, My Heart of Stone, and Confessions & Doubts.
Live Atmosphere with Great Emotional Depth
The acoustic format brings Heppner's baritone and the musical dramaturgy of his songs to the forefront. Between warm guitar tones, precise rhythmic work, and electronic soundscapes, a stage performance is created that combines intimate moments with hymn-like expansiveness. The orchestration remains transparent while voice, text, and audience mood intertwine immediately.
An Evening for Fans of Wolfsheim and Peter Heppner
