Razorlight brings British indie rock to Technikum Munich
On Wednesday, November 4, 2026, the Technikum in Munich's Werksviertel will transform into a meeting point for energetic British indie rock. Razorlight will return to Germany with the original lineup, combining distinctive guitars, driving rhythms, and great melodies with the direct intensity of a club concert.
Between London Underground and International Charts
Razorlight was founded in 2002 by singer and guitarist Johnny Borrell. With their debut album Up All Night, the British-Swedish band achieved breakthrough success in 2004; the album reached number three on the UK Albums Chart. Songs like Golden Touch, Somewhere Else, and later America shaped the guitar sound of the early 2000s.
The self-titled second album Razorlight continued the success, reaching number one on the UK charts. The band represents a distinctive mix of indie rock, raw rock'n'roll, and catchy hooks. In their live performance, precise synchronization, powerful bass lines, and Johnny Borrell's characteristic voice meet an immediate live atmosphere.
Support: The K's
The K's are announced as support. This means the concert evening begins with an extra dose of British guitar energy before Razorlight takes over the stage with their own set. The audience can expect a concert experience filled with nostalgic indie anthems, fast drumming figures, and electrifying crowd energy.
Live Sound at Technikum
The Technikum in Werksviertel provides the perfect setting for the powerful Razorlight sound. Between clear guitar lines, pulsating drums, and grand choruses, a dense club atmosphere is created where the songs can unfold particularly directly. The venue is located near Ostbahnhof and is easily accessible by S-Bahn, U-Bahn, tram, and bus.
Conclusion: An Evening for Indie Rock Fans
