Ricardo Volkert & Friends bring Songs of Love & Peace to Munich
On Wednesday, October 21, 2026, the small stage of the Pasinger Fabrik will transform into a musical resonance space for timeless songs about love, peace, protest, and solidarity. Ricardo Volkert & Friends present Songs of Love & Peace, a concert that combines the great songwriter classics of the 1960s and 1970s with an immediate live atmosphere.
Between Woodstock, Civil Rights Movement and Present
The program takes us back to an era when music became the voice of social change. Songs by Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen, Pete Seeger, Simon & Garfunkel, Cat Stevens, and Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young resonate in a present where their messages have lost none of their urgency. Between the Summer of Love, the Vietnam War, the Civil Rights Movement, and Woodstock, an evening full of musical memory and current resonance is created.
Guitars, Voices, and Multifaceted Stage Performance
At the center is Ricardo Volkert as guitarist and singer. His long-standing work with flamenco, world music, singer-songwriter tradition, and Spanish poetry shapes his approach to the well-known melodies. Harmonized vocals, acoustic guitars, and finely tuned arrangements create a warm sound that immediately charges the small stage of the Pasinger Fabrik.
The ensemble includes Elke Brüsch on vocals, Dirk Trageser on vocals and percussion, and Uli Maier on guitar and vocals. Trageser is also the guitarist and singer of the internationally touring band 17 Hippies, while Uli Maier is known as the guitarist and frontman of the rock trio Magic Buzz and as a member of the Henry Caddie Band. The lineup combines singer-songwriter intimacy with rhythmic energy and precise musical synchronization.
A Concert Experience with Attitude and Emotion
The songs thrive on clear melodies, strong lyrics, and an audience mood that quickly shifts from listening to singing along. Acoustic sounds, voices, and guitars create space for quiet moments before the arrangements open up again and unleash their full power. This creates a stage performance that is a blend of concert, musical journey through time, and a shared commitment to humanity.
