Teenage Fanclub bring their timeless indie rock to Munich

On Tuesday, October 27, 2026, STROM in Munich will transform into a meeting point for fans of melodic guitar music: Teenage Fanclub will perform live at 8:30 PM on Lindwurmstraße. The Scottish band combines warm alternative rock, catchy harmonies, and a concentrated stage performance into a concert experience with a special live atmosphere.

Guitars, harmonies, and great melodies

Teenage Fanclub significantly influenced the alternative rock hype of the 1990s. Their sound thrives on bouncy guitars, multi-part vocals, and a balance of raw band energy and finely crafted melodies. Albums like Bandwagonesque and Grand Prix made the group internationally known; in 2023, the latest studio album Nothing Lasts Forever was released.

Back To The Light: a special tour

The European tour will take Teenage Fanclub through several countries in the fall of 2026. A total of 35 concerts are scheduled in Spain, France, Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands, the UK, and Ireland. In Munich, this long-standing musical experience meets the direct energy of a club: short distances to the stage, clear sound, and an audience atmosphere that makes every guitar figure immediately palpable.

STROM as the Munich indie rock address

STROM is located in Lindwurmhof at Lindwurmstraße 88, south of Theresienwiese. The club is considered an established hotspot for indie rock, post-punk, Britpop, and underground music. The nearby Poccistraße subway station with lines U3 and U6 provides easy access from downtown Munich.

An evening for true concert lovers

Between shimmering guitar surfaces, precise synchronization, and multi-part choruses, a concert experience is created that connects nostalgia and the present. Teenage Fanclub represents handcrafted stage performance, musical substance, and songs that resonate immediately even decades after their creation.

Anyone wishing to experience melodic indie rock with a British school, distinctive sound, and intense club atmosphere should not miss this evening live at STROM. Teenage Fanclub brings their songs back to where they work particularly directly: on a small stage in front of an attentive, music-loving audience.
