On Wednesday, October 21, 2026, Hall E at Gasteig HP8 will transform into a large, spontaneous choir. At the 49th Munich Group Singing, well-known hits, humorous moderation, and the immediate energy of a singing audience come together.

A concert where all voices matter

Uli Wurschy and Volker Becker lead through more than two hours of favorite songs. Rock classics, pop hits, chansons, radio hits, and children's songs create a varied program that connects generations and awakens memories of great songs.

Live atmosphere with guitar, piano, and accordion

Uli Wurschy accompanies the audience on guitar, while Volker Becker plays piano and accordion. The instrumental accompaniment provides a clear musical framework for the songs, and the collective singing develops into a powerful stage performance of a huge choir.

Lyrics on the screen, melodies in the air

The lyrics are projected in a legible format onto a large screen. This allows even spontaneous visitors to quickly join in the songs. No one needs to have a perfect voice: What matters are the mood of the audience, the shared rhythm, and the joy of singing along.

An evening for many generations

The group singing connects people of different ages and musical preferences. Between familiar refrains, charming announcements, and short musical transitions, an open live atmosphere arises, turning individual voices into a unified sound.

Conclusion: The Munich Group Singing promises a warm-hearted, energetic concert experience with well-known melodies, plenty of humor, and true community. If you want to not only hear music but also be part of the sound, this evening is best experienced live in Hall E.
