Wallis Bird brings intense energy to Munich's Substanz
On Sunday, October 11, 2026, Wallis Bird and her band will perform at Substanz in Munich. The focus of the I Can See Your Tour From Here is on new songs, an exceptionally expressive stage performance, and the immediate live atmosphere of an artist who seeks closeness to the audience.
A concert between folk, rock, and personal openness
Wallis Bird combines powerful folk-rock with intimate singer-songwriter moments. Her voice ranges from fragile nuances to eruptive intensity, while the guitar creates rhythmic tension and melodic warmth. The concert promises a sound that does not stay at a distance but reaches directly into the room.
New songs and a journey through moving experiences
With her new album I Can See Your House From Here, Wallis Bird processes existential themes such as loss, hope, humanity, and community. After two years touring with the neo-classical band Spark and their joint album Visions Of Venus, she refocuses on her own music and her new band production.
From Irish singer-songwriter to award-winning stage force
Wallis Bird hails from Ireland and lives in Berlin. Her discography includes albums such as Spoons, New Boots, Wallis Bird, Architect, Home, Woman, and Hands. For her work, she has received awards including the Meteor Music Award and in 2017 the German Music Authors Prize in the Rock/Pop Composition category.
