Art enjoyment and cocktail culture at the Unterschleißheim City Museum
The after-work series Art & Cocktail combines a focused work analysis with relaxed encounters. On Thursday, November 26, 2026, a painting from the Graf collection will take center stage at the Unterschleißheim City Museum. The evening begins at 6 PM and invites guests to experience art history in an accessible way.
A painting, many perspectives
At the start, a museum professional will briefly and understandably introduce the specific topic. The approach changes from date to date: An art historical perspective, a surprising painting story, or a striking detail opens new perspectives on the painting. This creates an aesthetic experience that connects precise perception and cultural education.
Exhibition atmosphere with space for exchange
After the introduction, guests can let the exhibition atmosphere sink in at their leisure. Over a cocktail, work analysis, conversation, and a sociable after-work experience come together. The art gallery and the rooftop terrace create a special setting for this: The museum visit becomes a relaxed art experience with space for personal impressions and shared conversations.
Graf collection in focus
The event series makes a single work the starting point for an intense yet engaging discussion. Visitors receive insights into visual language, composition, and art historical context, without any prior knowledge required. This combination of expertise, proximity to the original, and informal exchange makes the format attractive for art enthusiasts and curious newcomers.
Conclusion: Experience art, engage in conversation
Art & Cocktail welcomes its guests with an understandable introduction, a special exhibition atmosphere, and a relaxed conclusion over a drink. Admission is free; cocktails can be purchased on-site at moderate prices. Those who want to not only view art but experience it as a living aesthetic experience will find an inspiring evening at the Unterschleißheim City Museum.
