If Findus really wants to celebrate his birthday once more, a loving family experience full of imagination, children's laughter, and surprising ideas begins at the Munich Theater for Children. On Sunday, October 18, 2026, families will experience the stage adaptation by Sven Nordqvist for children aged 4 and up.

A box becomes the birthday plan

Findus remembers how he came to Pettersson in a box. This leads to the idea for a special Findus-in-a-box-find-birthday. The chickens are immediately excited, and Pettersson also gets into the unusual celebration. His famous pancake cake is supposed to sweeten the day.

Excitement on the farm

But before the birthday cake is ready, things go wrong: the flour has disappeared, Pettersson's bike has a flat tire, and the key to the carpenter's shed remains unfound. Additionally, a message about a spotted fox causes excitement. Pettersson and Findus devise a plan that combines courage, ingenuity, and unity.

Child-friendly theater with learning fun

The production addresses children aged 4 and up appropriately and combines humorous stage moments with themes from family life. Friendship, problem-solving, creativity, and consideration are embedded in an imaginative story. The learning experience arises playfully: children watch, cheer along, and discover how joint ideas can lead out of difficult situations.
