Pettersson and Findus Bring Christmas Chaos to the Stage

When Pettersson and Findus celebrate Christmas, no chicken coop stays calm. At the Munich Theater for Children, families experience a heartfelt children's theater piece based on Sven Nordqvist, filled with humor, excitement, and children's laughter.

A Christmas Tree, a Sled, and Lots of Excitement

The Christmas preparations are in full swing. While searching for the prettiest Christmas tree, Findus crashes into Pettersson with his sled. The old man injures his foot, and suddenly everything spirals out of control: the chickens' wish list disappears, the self-made Christmas tree looks more like a withered cactus, and the crafty fox Snorre steals the laying hen Gack.

Child-Friendly Theater Experience from Four Years

The play is aimed at children aged four and older and combines a fantastical story with age-appropriate acting. Young viewers accompany Pettersson and Findus on an adventurous search and experience how friendship, solidarity, and mutual help can change even difficult situations.

Amazement, Excitement, and Quality Time Together

A chicken rocket, an unusual Christmas tree, and Santa Claus create surprising moments. The production offers families a sensory learning experience: children discover feelings, develop curiosity, and realize how collective action leads to solutions. The performance lasts about one and a half hours and includes a break.
