When babies listen, discover their first sounds, and parents sing together with their children, a special family experience is created. In the workshop Playful Music Making for Babies and Toddlers, Gasteig HP8 invites families to experience music up close and with all their senses.
Singing, listening, and experimenting together
Songs and small instruments make music immediately tangible. Children encounter sounds in a calm, child-friendly atmosphere and are allowed to listen curiously, participate, and discover their own sound moments. The focus is on the time spent together by parents and children.

The session at 10 AM is aimed at toddlers aged 1 to 3 years accompanied by an adult. The offering is tailored to the needs of young children and combines joy, movement, attention, and first musical learning experiences.
Family education meets culture
The workshop is organized by the Gasteig Cultural Foundation in cooperation with the Fabi – Paritätische Family Education Center Munich e. V. The limited group size of 20 people creates a manageable environment where children and adults can make music together. A separate ticket is required for each child and each accompanying adult.
