Pippi Longstocking invites families to a brave adventure in Taka-Tuka-Land
A mysterious message in a bottle, a captured father, and a journey with the self-made balloon: At the puppet theater Pippi Longstocking in Taka-Tuka-Land, children aged two and up experience a whimsical family outing filled with children's laughter, excitement, and lots of fun learning. The lovingly adapted stage version of the famous children's book classic by Astrid Lindgren combines a clear story with colorful theatrical magic.
A message in a bottle opens up a grand adventure
By the riverbank, Pippi discovers a message from her father, the king of Taka-Tuka Island. Pirates are holding him captive and want to learn the location of a treasure. For Pippi, it is immediately clear: she must help. Together with her monkey Mr. Nilsson, she sets off for the island.
Puppet theater for little theater fans
The approximately 50-minute production is tailored for children aged two and up. The manageable duration of the performance supports age-appropriate learning experiences and allows even younger children to have a relaxed entrance into the world of theater. Pippi's journey offers understandable plots, humorous characters, and child-friendly suspense.
Courage, friendship, and solving problems together
Pippi meets the pirates Blood-Svente and Knife-Jocke with courage, imagination, and independence. Children experience a strong main character who actively tackles challenges while relying on friendship and willingness to help. These themes stimulate conversations about self-confidence, empathy, and creative solutions, making the theater visit a valuable learning experience for the whole family.
Theater tent with a special atmosphere
The puppet theater performs in the theater tent on the meadow at Fleckhamerstraße in Gauting. The immediate atmosphere of a theater tent creates closeness to the stage events and allows children to dive deep into the story. Wonder, curiosity, and shared excitement make this outing a special time together.
