83. Substantial Pub Quiz: Knowledge, Excitement, and Team Spirit in Munich
On Wednesday, October 14, 2026, Substanz on Ruppertstraße in Munich will once again turn into a stage for clever minds, quick decisions, and lively audience atmosphere. At the 83rd Substantial Pub Quiz, around 20 teams will compete against each other and fight for overall victory in four quiz rounds.
Four rounds full of knowledge and surprises
The answers will be recorded on an answer sheet before each round is evaluated. The score table regularly brings dynamics to the competition and maintains excitement until the last question. Small surprises for the winners of each round and prizes for the top three teams make the event experience particularly appealing.
Puzzle together, celebrate together
Each team consists of two to four quizzers. The organization relies on collaborative brainstorming, clear rules, and a lively event atmosphere. Smartphones, dictionaries, and phone-a-friend lifelines are not allowed – here, knowledge, combinatorial skills, and team spirit at the table count.
Entry and procedure
Entry begins at 7:00 PM, the quiz starts at 8:00 PM and is expected to run until 11:00 PM. Registration is required. Each team member must book their own ticket. Hauke van Göns is announced as the host.
