Art & Flow in Gilching: Free Creativity without Performance Pressure
On Wednesday, November 11, 2026, the six-part course Art & Flow – The Weekly Courses will start at the vhs Gilching. Under the guidance of freelance artist Astrid Künzner, a protected space will be created for intuitive painting, playful experimentation, and a creative break from everyday life.
Dive into the Flow with Colors
Here, the perfect result does not matter, but the path to it does. Random doodles, blind painting, and finger painting help release established thought patterns and open up one's perception. Intuitive color surfaces and a conscious look at shadows bring movement into the creative process.
Overpainting, tearing, redesigning
Art & Flow relies on surprising turns: images can be changed, overpainted, torn, and reassembled. New image ideas and personal expressions emerge particularly from letting go. The event experience combines artistic curiosity with relaxation and a vibrant event atmosphere.
Creative Course for Beginners and Experienced Painters
The course is aimed at people who enjoy painting and experimenting. Prior knowledge is not the focus. Astrid Künzner combines her many years of painting experience with methods of relaxation pedagogy as well as expertise from stress prevention and art therapy. Her approach is process-oriented, playful, and free from evaluation.
Organization and Practical Notes
The event planning includes six dates from November 11 to December 16, 2026. Each session lasts two and a half hours and takes place at the vhs Gilching, Room U 04. Please bring: acrylic paints, oil pastel crayons, a sketchbook from A3 size, and brushes. The group is limited to a minimum of five and a maximum of twelve participants.
