Quiz fever, teamwork, and four rounds of excitement at Substanz
On Wednesday, November 11, 2026, Substanz in Munich will transform into an arena for clever minds, quick answers, and lively pub quiz atmosphere. In the 85th Substantial Pub Quiz, teams of two to four people will compete against each other for victory.
Four rounds, 40 questions, and only one winning team
The concept brings classic quiz show energy right into Munich's bar and club culture: A total of 40 questions will be asked in four rounds. Answers will be recorded on a solution sheet, followed by evaluation and current scoring. Small surprises for round winners and prizes for the top three teams will add extra motivation.
Excitement, crowd energy, and real club experience
At Substanz, bar atmosphere, live entertainment, and focused competition come together. Between drinks, conversations, and the tense silence before the next question, a special dance floor vibe emerges without a dance floor: every correct answer triggers cheers, every point changes the dynamics in the room.
Team play instead of smartphone joker
Here, knowledge, combinatorial skills, and team coordination count. Smartphones, encyclopedias, and phone jokers are not allowed and are commented on with loud passion by the competing teams. There is space for about 20 quiz teams, registration is required, and each team member needs a separate ticket.
Admission, start time, and directions
Admission starts at 7:00 PM, the quiz begins at 8:00 PM, and is expected to end around 11:00 PM. Substanz is located at Ruppertstraße 28 in Munich. The Poccistraße subway station with lines U3 and U6 is nearby; the bus line 62 stops within a few minutes' walk. Public transport is recommended for arrival.
Conclusion: Who will take the quiz trophy?
The 85th Substantial Pub Quiz combines Munich's pub flair, clever team play, and thrilling live excitement. Those who want to compete with friends, collect points, and connect the evening with a real club experience should secure their spot and experience the next quiz round live at Substanz.
