Staying Connected Digitally and Discovering New Things Together

Digital opportunities open up new ways for older people to socialize, gather information, and participate together. The event Staying Connected Digitally – Easy, Safe, and Together at the vhs Gilching is aimed at seniors who want to learn about digital offerings in an understandable and protected atmosphere.

Safe and Confident in Digital Daily Life

Together we will address questions that often arise in daily life: How do I stay in touch with family and friends? How do I find reliable information? What digital services facilitate social participation? Understandable explanations and practical examples provide orientation and strengthen confidence in dealing with digital media.

Community and Social Participation

The course combines age-appropriate learning with personal exchange. Especially when personal contacts decrease in older age, digital means can enable encounters and enrich existing relationships. Collective learning creates a relaxed atmosphere, promotes well-being, and provides space for questions without time pressure.

Senior-Friendly Learning

The focus is on understandable steps, safety, and respectful handling of individual prior knowledge. The event thus supports digital health prevention, independence, and social participation. Even people with little experience on the Internet will find a suitable approach to the topics.
