CIRCUS at GOP Munich: When Variety Becomes a Sparkling Arena

On Wednesday, October 14, 2026, the GOP Variety Theater Munich transforms into a poetic arena filled with artistic achievements, precise body art, and surprising stage designs. The show CIRCUS – Festival of Artists combines the great tradition of the circus with modern, narrative dramaturgy.

Artistic Fireworks with Narrative Power

The focus is on acrobatics, clowning, magic, and the physical precision of international artists. The Circus Theater Bingo from Kyiv presents a production on stage in collaboration with GOP showconcept that deeply bows to the poetry of the circus world while simultaneously opening new artistic perspectives.

Direction, Stage Design, and Light as a Total Artwork

The direction by Igor Protsenko and Irina German leads the individual performances into a cohesive stage experience. Sebastian Drozdz is responsible for the stage design, while Andi Hönig and Leon Rivero Budde create an atmosphere between a sparkling arena, heightened anticipation, and poetic transformation with the lighting design.

The production relies on fresh dramaturgy and innovative artistic elements. Each movement has its own rhythm, and each act develops its own tension. Thus, a variety show emerges where acting, music, lighting mood, and artistic excellence intertwine.

Two Hours Full of Wonder

The audience experiences a performance lasting around two hours, including a break. The theater's acoustics, the proximity to the stage, and the changing light images intensify the theater atmosphere into an immediate live experience. Between risky balance, astonishing magic, and comedic moments, a special audience reaction emerges that has characterized variety for generations: tense silence, spontaneous applause, and shared wonder.

An Evening for Lovers of the Performing Arts

CIRCUS focuses on the timeless fascination of the arena and translates it into a modern GOP production. The Circus Theater Bingo is known for aesthetically demanding productions and top artistic performances. The show combines circus history, contemporary variety, and a sensual stage design into an evening that blurs the lines between theater, acrobatics, and poetic entertainment.

Conclusion: Experience Variety Live

CIRCUS at the GOP Variety Theater Munich promises a dense, visually striking stage experience with international artistry, modern direction, and a grand theater atmosphere. Those who wish to experience the magic of the circus not from a distance, but directly in the spotlight, will find an evening full of movement, tension, and poetry.
