When the dumpling becomes the crime scene

On Sunday, October 18, 2026, the Old Inn Moosach in Munich transforms into the setting of a Bavarian crime comedy with Prussian character. At The Dumpling Conspiracy, interactive theater, dark humor, and a multi-course menu combine to create an unusual stage experience where the audience becomes part of the investigation.

Bavarian wit meets criminal investigation

Alois Zornbinkl, played by Rudi Gall, as a crime scene cleaner for the Bavarian police, knows the depths of numerous murder cases. Together with Henriette, portrayed by Sophie Meinecke, he examines a curious case. The newly formed Soko SOKO follows every lead, inspects every detail, and soon realizes: Behind an unassuming dumpling can hide a particularly deadly secret.

Interactive staging with culinary dramaturgy

The direction emphasizes immediate closeness and direct audience participation. Guests do not just sit in front of the stage; they become part of the investigative efforts. Between turbulent dialogues, surprising twists, and pointed acting, a crime comedy unfolds, accompanied by several courses of the menu.

The rustic ambiance of the Old Inn Moosach enhances the theatrical atmosphere: Rustic hospitality, Bavarian lifestyle, and the acoustics of the historic inn create a sensory backdrop for an evening filled with fun and murder suspicion. The stage design emerges from the space itself – from set tables, suspicious glances, and the palpable anticipation of the audience.

An evening for amateur detectives

The performance lasts about an hour and a half and is framed by a three-course menu. Thus, acting, culinary enjoyment, and interactive investigation merge into a unique form of dinner theater. Circles of friends, families, and teams experience an evening that unfolds tension not with grim seriousness, but with Bavarian humor and lively audience reaction.
