When the workshop of Professor Korbinian Fox comes to life at the Munich Puppet Theater, a fantastical science fiction adventure begins for young audiences. The Time Machine of Korbinian Fox combines classic puppetry with a fast-paced family story full of inventiveness, excitement, and surprising twists.

A machine, a missing girl, and many eras

Professor Korbinian Fox is working together with his assistant Rakete on a new time machine. When Fania, the curious niece of the professor, tries out the mysterious invention, the machine suddenly comes to life. Fania disappears – and for Fox and Rakete, an adventurous chase through various epochs begins.

Puppet art with imagination and tempo

The team of the Munich Puppet Theater developed the piece as a puppet and figure play for children aged six and up. On stage, intricately designed figures, colorful costumes, and transformable sets meet a clearly told dramaturgical story. Dinosaurs, Egyptian figures, knights, pirates, and characters from the future expand the journey into a multifaceted picture narrative.

Light, sound, and set design as a time machine

The production derives its effect from the interplay of puppet control, stage painting, lighting design, and sound direction. Future worlds, historical locations, and fantastic interspaces each have their own atmosphere. Acoustics and sound accompany the chase, while the precise acting skills of the ensemble give the puppets character and emotional presence.

Theater experience for the whole family

With a duration of about 105 minutes including an intermission, the performance offers a concentrated, varied stage experience. The clear dramaturgy, humorous characters, and journey through different eras appeal to both children and adults who wish to rediscover the traditional art of the Munich Puppet Theater.

Conclusion: A leap into stage fantasy

The Time Machine of Korbinian Fox takes the audience into a world where technical curiosity, adventure spirit, and classic puppet art come together.
