WOMEN'S HIGH SEASON: A ridiculous comedy at the Galli Theater Munich

When two men grapple on stage for their lost power, freedom, and a new self-image, a stage experience emerges that is rich in sharp dialogue, grotesque disguises, and turbulent comedy. Johannes Galli's WOMEN'S HIGH SEASON will guest at the Galli Theater in Amalienpassage on Saturday, October 24, 2026.

Two men, an absurd duel

Karl Knall, alias Prof. Dr. Senfstößl, and Hartmut Harrer meet in a theatrical experimental setup full of tensions. Both try to reanimate their lost masculine power potential. From this struggle, the production develops a layered comedy about role models, self-assertion, and the search for true freedom.

Disguise as a motor of comedy

The direction relies on hot disguises, sharp dialogues, and ever new duels. Costume, physicality, and language propel the narrative, while the acting skills of the two performers immediately draw the audience into the action. The theater atmosphere thrives on the interplay of exaggeration, surprising twists, and precise comedic timing.

An evening full of stage energy

The production combines grotesque situations with a look at male constraints and societal expectations. Step by step, from the apparent contest of strength arises a surprising way out. The stage design remains committed to the performers' play: every gesture, every transformation, and every sharp exchange of words allows space for immediate audience reactions.

Conclusion: Comedic theater with depth

WOMEN'S HIGH SEASON promises a fast-paced theater evening for adults that makes you laugh out loud while also prompting reflection on entrenched roles. Anyone who wants to experience acting, grotesque comedy, and a pointed production live should secure tickets for the Galli Theater Munich.
