This cinema is showing a lot of movies in the original version which was also one of the main reasons to go there. Hidden in a backyard in the center of Munich you will find this beautiful cinema. They have popcorn and a good selection of drinks and snacks. Only 4 stars and not 5 because I did not really like the sound system. The seats are comfy. Unfortunately, a lot of guests do not know how to sit in a chair where you cannot place your drink next to you... so many times you hear bottles falling down. All in all a very good cinema!

This is by far my favorite cinema in the city. It combines all the qualities of both Munich and the love of films. It’s a little hidden, although it’s in the center of the city, and you will be quite happy to enter this cute little world of film (with painted movie posters and cute cinema rooms).

Very sweet spot! The rooms look lovely, as does the plaza you walk in. The chairs are comfortable, but the cup holder sits in the chair in front of you, which makes you feel every time someone puts a glass behind you. Price is normal for Munich. Tasty popcorn. Nice light beam and not too crowded rooms.

My favorite indie type of cinema in Munich. They have English films, praise be! It's hidden in a courtyard so it really feels like you are in another era when you are there. They also have a subscription (have to commit for 1 year) where you pay about €20 and can watch as many films as you want (also at their branches in Berlin). They don't only show films, but documentaries about all different types of subjects as well. It's truly a special place.

I was in City 1 salon watching an almost three-hour movie. The acoustics were fine, it was pretty clean and had a pleasant temperature. But I got pain from sitting still too long. I still don’t know if it was only me or if others felt the same. I had to readjust myself repeatedly. One thing that I noticed is that entering a row is not easy when others are seated. In general, I enjoyed my night.
