Live Evil | Program & Jam Session
Live Evil is one of those Munich locations that does not try to be everything, but precisely because of that develops a strong character. The address at Rosenheimer Straße 5 is located in the heart of Haidhausen, in the vicinity of the former Gasteig, now FAT CAT, and combines club atmosphere, concert stage, and event space in one place. On the official site, Live Evil describes itself as an unconventional event location with club operations, concerts, and rentals for collectives, bands, companies, and private parties. This is exactly where the appeal comes from: The house is not only a performance venue but also a meeting point, rehearsal space substitute, gathering place, and stage for a program that moves across various genres. Those searching for live evil münchen, live evil fat cat, or live evil program are therefore not just looking for an address but a cultural promise: close by, diverse, lively, and musically open. The location has been in operation since 2023 and has been reimagined in the former rooms of the Gast in the old Gasteig, creating an exciting overlay of historical substance and temporary cultural practice. ([live-evil.de](https://www.live-evil.de/))
In the everyday lives of Munich concert-goers, Live Evil is therefore more than just a name on a poster. The house is closely linked to the cultural transformation of the area, where Fat Cat is reanimating the former Gasteig as a temporary use. The visitor address, the connection to Rosenheimer Platz, the barrier-free accessibility, and the visible club and bar architecture make the location practically usable, while the programmatic openness to jazz, indie, electronics, soul, alternative, post-punk, and heavy sounds appeals to a broad audience. This very mix explains why search queries like live evil heute, live evil münchen heute, live evil fotos, live evil club, live evil session, or live evil miles davis fit together so well: It’s about a place where music does not take place in isolation but is experienced as part of a larger culture in the space. For SEO, this is ideal because the location is clearly positioned but still offers enough thematic depth to capture various user intentions. ([live-evil.de](https://www.live-evil.de/))
Live Evil today: current program, tickets, and dates
If you are looking for the program of Live Evil today, you will most reliably land on the official program page. There, it can be seen that the location has a very active booking and currently features concerts from very different scenes. For the end of April and the following weeks, the page shows, among others, Archers, Witch Fever, Orcutt Shelley Miller, The Sophs, Warlord Colossus, Puma Blue, Lambert, Siamese Elephants, The Builders and the Butchers, Escape with Romeo, and Malou Lovis. This selection already makes it clear that live evil program and live evil münchen program are not narrowly defined niche terms but refer to a consciously broad repertoire. The genres range from DIY metalcore and doom punk to noise rock and indie rock, as well as more intimate sounds between jazz, alternative, pop, and post-punk. This is also a significant SEO point: The search intention behind the venue name is usually not generic but wants to see concrete, current content. The official site delivers exactly that, including date, time, and links to ticket or calendar functions. ([live-evil.de](https://www.live-evil.de/))
This booking is crucial for the perception of the location. Live Evil presents itself not as a static space but as a place where different scenes meet. The homepage prominently displays the currently recommended concerts side by side, creating the impression of a lively, continuously active stage. This is particularly important for the keywords live evil heute and live evil münchen heute because users usually want to quickly find out what is coming up next. The site currently shows dates starting from April 29, 2026, which in practice means that the schedule is continuously maintained and does not only serve an archival function. Additionally, the tone of the event descriptions also shapes the character of the location: sometimes raw and loud, sometimes hypnotic and intimate, sometimes danceable and club-oriented. For Google and for visitors, this creates a clear picture: Live Evil is a concert location whose program is not limited to a single genre but consciously addresses different listening habits. This breadth makes the place highly relevant for ticket and program searches. ([live-evil.de](https://www.live-evil.de/))
Soul Jam, sessions, and the jazzy character of Live Evil
A particularly strong theme surrounding Live Evil is the jam session culture. The location is not only a concert venue but also a space for open musical formats where spontaneity and curated structure come together. On the FAT-CAT page for the Live Evil Soul Jam @ Black Box, the session is described as an open yet clearly structured sound laboratory. A highly talented house band forms the backbone of the evening, providing musical direction while also creating space for spontaneous contributions and open encounters. This is exactly where the mix that makes search queries like live evil session, live evil soul jam session, or live evil soul jam so apt comes from: It’s not just about a concert but about a social music space. The evening thrives on experienced musicians and emerging talents coming together on equal footing. This openness is culturally valuable and makes the location interesting for music fans far beyond the classic club audience. ([fatcat-muc.de](https://fatcat-muc.de/events/live-evil-soul-jam-black-box/))
The jazzy core of the project is also historically well-founded. In the early coverage of the opening, Live Evil was described as a meeting point for live music, good drinks, and fair prices, with a clear focus on jazz, jam sessions, and local bands. Back then, Wednesdays were for jazz, Thursdays for jam sessions, Fridays for bands, and Saturdays were more electronic nights. Even though the current schedule has become broader, this origin remains important because it explains why live evil gasteig and live evil fat cat are so often mentioned together with jazz, soul, and session culture. This is ideal for the content orientation of the website: The location can credibly cater to both club proximity and musical subculture. This ensures that users looking for a session, a soul jam, or an open stage immediately perceive Live Evil as a relevant place. At the same time, the venue does not get stuck in a single scene but opens itself up to new formats and changing line-ups. ([tz.de](https://www.tz.de/muenchen/stadt/eine-neue-live-bar-fuer-muenchen-das-live-evil-eroeffnet-im-gasteig-92409163.html))
Directions, parking, and accessibility at Fat Cat
A large part of the search queries for a venue do not revolve around art but around pragmatism: How do I get there, where do I park, how far is the walk, is the location accessible? Here, Live Evil scores with very clear information. The official FAT-CAT page lists the visitor address as Rosenheimer Straße 5, 81667 Munich. For public transport access, the S-Bahn lines S1 to S8 with the stop Rosenheimer Platz and the tram line 25 with the same stop are indicated. Those coming on foot can reach the house in about three minutes from Rosenheimer Platz, according to visitor information. This is particularly relevant for the keyword combination live evil münchen parken and live evil gasteig, as the address is central and well connected to public transport. For many visitors, this combination of central location, clear address, and short remaining distance is the decisive advantage over peripheral clubs. ([fatcat-muc.de](https://fatcat-muc.de/kontakt-anfahrt/))
The parking information is also concrete enough for reliable planning. The parking garage Gasteig or Fat Cat at Rosenheimer Straße 5 offers 271 parking spaces. For people arriving by car, this is a noticeable advantage as you do not have to search for an external parking garage. Additionally, there is accessibility: The venue and event spaces are reported to be barrier-free accessible, and there are several elevators in the building. Combined with the central entrance and urban location, this is equally important for organizers and visitors. For SEO inquiries related to live evil münchen parken, live evil heute, and live evil münchen, this information is particularly valuable because it demonstrates the practical usability of the place and does not just paint an atmospheric picture. Those planning a concert or wanting to spontaneously attend a session can calculate their arrival much more easily. ([fatcat-muc.de](https://fatcat-muc.de/kontakt-anfahrt/))
Capacity, stage, terrace, and technology
Live Evil is not only centrally located but also interesting in its equipment for various event formats. The venue profile at Eventlocations states 120 seats and up to 300 guests standing. The area measures 3,229.17 square feet, and there is a permanently installed stage with an area of 161.46 square feet. For smaller club shows, this is close and concentrated, but for private events or corporate formats, it is large enough to remain flexible. Also mentioned are a bar, lighting and sound technology, WiFi with up to 1,000 Mbit/s, 5G, a fixed technical partner, an outdoor terrace, and other features such as air conditioning, heating, daylight, disabled access, projector, microphone, cloakroom, and backstage area. This combination explains why live evil capacity is a meaningful keyword: The location is neither a mini-club nor a huge hall, but a medium-sized, well-equipped space with a clear live orientation. ([eventlocations.com](https://www.eventlocations.com/en/venues/liveevil-munich))
For organizers, the outdoor area is also relevant. The partially covered terrace is described as a place for welcome drinks, breaks, or winding down after a successful event. Additionally, the venue profile mentions in-house catering and the possibility of working with service staff, dishes, and technical support. This makes Live Evil attractive for business events, workshops, PR formats, parties, weddings, or summer festivals without losing its club-like core. Especially in the context of live evil club and live evil fotos, this is important because images and the feeling of space play a significant role here: The venue does not seem overloaded but focused, with stage, bar, and clear architecture. The great practical strength lies in the fact that the house brings both musical intimacy and organizational professionalism. Those looking for a place where a show does not get lost in a huge scale but can still run technically smoothly and hospitably will find a very suitable setup here. ([eventlocations.com](https://www.eventlocations.com/en/venues/liveevil-munich))
Live Evil, Fat Cat, and the history in the old Gasteig
The history of Live Evil is closely linked to the transformation of the former Gasteig. When the location started in 2023, Munich media reported that the new bar opened in the temporary use of the Gasteig in the rooms of the old restaurant Gast. The operators explicitly wanted to create a stage for bands and local artists after having already gained experience in a previous temporary use, the Ankerhaide. A darkly designed room with a stage, red bar, and distinctive ceiling was described, complemented by an indoor or outdoor area that was to be played more later. This context is central to the search terms live evil gasteig and live evil fat cat, as it explains why the location does not appear like a classic new building but like a culturally charged transitional space. ([tz.de](https://www.tz.de/muenchen/stadt/eine-neue-live-bar-fuer-muenchen-das-live-evil-eroeffnet-im-gasteig-92409163.html))
The name itself is also an important part of the narrative. Live Evil is a palindrome and has been linked in the reporting to Miles Davis, whose album Live-Evil was released in 1971. On the official Miles Davis site, the album is documented as a double album consisting of live and studio recordings and musically thrives on contrasts, breaks, and a futuristic sound. This tension between dark and light, raw and elegant, club and jazz, intimacy and energy fits very well with the Munich location. For the keyword combination live evil miles davis, not only the musical reference is relevant but also the idea of making contrasts productive. Live Evil in Munich does not take this name by coincidence but with cultural connectivity: The reference to jazz history, improvisation, and contrast gives the brand depth and recognizability. This is valuable for SEO because it makes the location not arbitrary but anchored in a larger musical narrative. ([milesdavis.com](https://www.milesdavis.com/albums/live-evil/))
What events is Live Evil suitable for?
Live Evil is suitable for much more than just classic concert evenings. The official homepage already mentions club operations, concerts, and rentals in one place and is aimed at collectives, bands, companies, and private parties. The venue profile complements this openness with concrete occasions such as birthdays, Christmas parties, corporate events, incentives, PR and marketing events, parties, seminars, workshops, summer festivals, and weddings. This covers a broad range that spans from music nights to professional events. This is particularly important for those searching for live evil club, live evil fotos, or live evil fat cat münchen: The place is atmospheric enough for live culture but also organizationally suitable for other event types. The permanently installed stage, the bar, the technology, the terrace, and the central location ensure that both small line-ups and curated formats work well. ([live-evil.de](https://www.live-evil.de/))
For visitors, this means above all one thing: The location remains exciting because it does not limit itself to a single audience. Those looking for tickets today will find very different acts with their own tonalities on the official program page. Those looking for a session, a soul evening, or a communal musical experience will find it in the jam and soul jam-related formats. And those planning practically benefit from the combination of parking garage, public transport, accessibility, and central address. This is precisely why keywords like live evil münchen programm, live evil heute, live evil münchen parken, and live evil session are so strongly interconnected: They describe different user intentions that converge at the same location. For the website architecture, this means connecting content about program, directions, capacity, history, and sessions cleanly while also emphasizing the distinctiveness of the place. Thus, a simple venue name becomes a page that reliably serves both search intention and genuine interest. ([live-evil.de](https://www.live-evil.de/))

The venue is relatively small, but it’s great for parties and small-scale concerts! The bar area is spacious, and I think the drink selection is sufficient. During the Turkish Pop Night, the girl behind the bar with ponytails on both sides was super friendly and kind 🫶 There are 3 toilets in the women’s restroom, which might be enough for less crowded parties, but there’s usually a line overall. There’s also a separate area to leave your coat, you can check it in for a small fee (around 2–3€)..

I’ve mostly visited this place for special events, themed nights, or concerts, and every time it has been a great experience. The venue is very well-suited for this kind of activity — spacious enough but still cozy, with good sound and lighting that make each event enjoyable. The organization and atmosphere always feel well thought out, creating the right vibe for both live music and creative concepts. Definitely a solid choice for anyone looking to enjoy a fun night out or attend unique cultural events.

I lived in Munich for more than 5 years already, and it was my first time attending a show here. I LOVE ALLIE SHERLOCK. And it was such an amazing night!

I went to a small gathering/party and ended up getting to know everyone… literally, because we were packed in like Tetris on hard mode 😅 The place isn’t very big, but it has a fun vibe and good energy. Drinks are a bit on the pricey side — Munich prices, I guess — but okay. Slight surprise that you’re not allowed to step outside even for a minute with your drink, as if it might try to escape. Still, we had a good time: loud music, cheerful crowd, and overall not a bad experience at all. I’d go again… just next time I’ll do some stretching before going in 😄
