Live Evil | Program & Jam Session
Live Evil has become one of those addresses in Munich that you not only search for but also remember. The location stands for an immediate, close live experience in the environment of FAT CAT in the former Gasteig and combines club operation, concerts, and rentals in one place. Those searching for Live Evil Munich, Live Evil Fat Cat, or Live Evil today usually want to know three things at once: What is currently on the program, how does the jam session work, and how to get there best. This text aims to address exactly that. The official pages show a venue that consciously positions itself between a cultural center, pop-up bar, and music venue, with changing formats, open encounters, and a clear focus on live culture. At the same time, the venue is part of a larger interim use that brings together many different scenes in Munich. This is important for seekers because behind the name lies not just a stage but a complete cultural place with daytime and evening operations, changing genres, and a very unique, urban atmosphere. ([live-evil.de](https://www.live-evil.de/))
Live Evil today: Where can I find the current program?
The most important search intention around Live Evil is clearly the program. The official event page continuously publishes new dates, and this is where orientation begins for all those searching for Live Evil program, Live Evil today, or Live Evil Munich today. As of May 25, 2026, the calendar shows the next visible dates, including The Builders and the Butchers on May 28, 2026, Jonny Karacho on June 7, 2026, and in the fall, Escape with Romeo on September 19 and Malou Lovis on September 26. This makes it clear: Live Evil is not a static entry but a continuously active location with constantly changing concert and club formats. Therefore, anyone looking for an evening program in Munich today should take the official calendar as the first point of contact, as it shows the current selection, new additional dates, and any possible changes. This dynamism is relevant for SEO searches because terms like today, program, and Munich are closely linked here. ([live-evil.de](https://www.live-evil.de/programm))
The self-understanding of the location also fits this constant movement. Live Evil describes itself as an unconventional event location with club operation, concerts, and rentals in one place. FAT CAT complements the picture by noting that over 50 events take place there every month, and concerts, theater, raves, comedy, conferences, and fairs are possible in the large halls. For the search intention, this means: Live Evil is not just a single evening but part of a whole cultural program in the house. Therefore, anyone searching for Live Evil session, Live Evil fat cat Munich, or Live Evil Munich program rightly expects a lively, multi-layered offering instead of a static event page. This also creates a special SEO opportunity because the location is perceived both as a concert venue and as a program address and as a platform for open formats. This is valuable in the digital context because users are not only looking for tickets but also quick answers to the question: What is actually happening there today? ([live-evil.de](https://www.live-evil.de/))
Jam Session and Soul Jam Session at Live Evil
A second strong search theme is the jam session, and here there is indeed a very clear content fit in the case of Live Evil. On Rausgegangen, the Soul Jam Session is described as a weekly Tuesday appointment where the Munich jazz scene meets at LIVE/EVIL. A band opens the evening with a short set, after which everyone plays together; the stage belongs, according to the description, to all who want to participate, including instrumentalists, singers, and improvisers. This open structure is exactly what search queries like Live Evil Jam Session, Live Evil Soul Jam Session, or Live Evil Munich Jam Session want to answer. The free character of the format is particularly important: It is not about a closed showcase but about an open space for encounter, improvisation, and collective groove. Those searching for session character, participation opportunities, or a place for spontaneous musical encounters will find a strong content match here. ([rausgegangen.de](https://rausgegangen.de/en/events/soul-jam-session-40/))
The jam format is also officially visible in the FAT CAT environment. There is the entry Live Evil Soul Jam @ Black Box, where the jam session is described as an open yet clearly structured sound laboratory. This formulation is particularly interesting from an SEO perspective because it connects the keyword session with a clear quality promise: open but curated; spontaneous but not arbitrary. This tension field is what makes the location appealing. For visitors, this means that Live Evil not only offers classic concert evenings but also formats where musical openness is explicitly desired. Therefore, anyone searching for live evil session or live evil soul jam session does not get a side issue but a core area of the program. This connection between club operation and open jam culture is also a good distinction from many other locations in Munich because here, not only is consumption happening, but musical co-creation is possible. This supports the perception of Live Evil as a lively, experimental address in FAT CAT. ([fatcat-muc.de](https://fatcat-muc.de/events/live-evil-soul-jam-black-box/?utm_source=openai))
Live Evil in FAT CAT and the former Gasteig
For many search queries, the location question is just as important as the program. Live Evil is located in the environment of FAT CAT, that is, in the former Gasteig, which, according to the official description, is being renovated and continues to live on as a cultural center during the interim use. FAT CAT explicitly states that the building stood empty and has therefore been temporarily revitalized. Live Evil is referred to on the homepage as a pop-up bar in the old guest, thus as part of a larger house that has transformed into a cultural platform. It also fits that in the building, not just a single format exists, but several uses run in parallel: studios, rehearsal rooms, bars, stages, and event spaces. For search intentions like Live Evil Gasteig or Live Evil Fat Cat, this is the crucial information because users want to understand whether it is a club, a bar, a stage, or a whole cultural place. The correct answer is: both and even more. Live Evil is a format in the house, FAT CAT is the overarching cultural framework, and the former Gasteig is the historical shell. ([fatcat-muc.de](https://fatcat-muc.de/))
This interim use is not just a background detail but shapes the entire identity of the place. FAT CAT emphasizes that the use ends on September 30, 2026, which makes the location both temporally limited and culturally special. It is not an endless standard operation but a temporary, constantly changing house. In addition, there are several house locations that complement the environment around Live Evil: Milla Café, Jazzclub Republik, Lucky Punch Comedy Club, Labor, Kulturdachgarten, and other venues. This is relevant for content and SEO because users searching for live evil fat cat munich do not only mean a room but a whole ecosystem of music, bar, stage, and scene. Those categorizing the location should always consider the interim use character, the cultural diversity in the house, and the proximity to the historical Gasteig. This distinguishes Live Evil from an ordinary concert address and explains why the location attracts so many different expectations in search engines. ([fatcat-muc.de](https://fatcat-muc.de/))
Access, Parking, and Barrier-Free Access
For an event location, access and parking are almost always one of the most important topics, and here FAT CAT provides very concrete information. The visitor address for events is Rosenheimer Straße 5 in 81667 Munich. The public transport connections include the S-Bahn lines S1 to S8 with the stop Rosenheimer Platz as well as tram line 25. Those arriving by bike or on foot will find parking options around the house; the walk from Rosenheimer Platz takes about three minutes. For search queries like parking, access, or live evil munich today, this is crucial because the place is centrally located and can be reached without a major detour. The Gasteig parking garage, mentioned in connection with FAT CAT, has 271 parking spaces. This makes the location suitable for both spontaneous evening visits and planned event trips. Those traveling in Munich often need clear information without lengthy searches at central concert venues, and exactly this clarity is provided by the official access page. ([fatcat-muc.de](https://fatcat-muc.de/kontakt-anfahrt/))
Equally important is the barrier-free access. FAT CAT points out that all venues and event spaces are accessible and that there are several elevators in the building. For visitors with mobility restrictions, this is a strong argument because it makes the visit more manageable and relaxed. This is also relevant from an SEO perspective because search queries like barrier-free, parking space, access, or Rosenheimer Platz often directly relate to a specific event decision. The location communicates these points transparently and thus makes a professional impression. After all, when searching for a venue, one does not only want to know the line-up but also whether the way is uncomplicated, whether an elevator is available, and how quickly one can get from the S-Bahn to the door. This builds trust in the live sector. Together with the central location, the dense public transport network, and the parking garage, a very practical overall picture emerges that makes Live Evil accessible to both the Munich audience and external guests alike. ([fatcat-muc.de](https://fatcat-muc.de/kontakt-anfahrt/))
Concerts, Club Operation, and Typical Events at Live Evil
Live Evil is not limited to a single genre but thrives on the mix. The current program status clearly shows this: In the official and external event calendars, rock, indie, pop, soul, post-punk, metal, jam sessions, DJ-oriented formats, and even family offerings appear. On the Live Evil homepage, The Builders and the Butchers, Jonny Karacho, Escape with Romeo, and Malou Lovis are highlighted, while the calendar lists additional dates like Siamese Elephants, Warlord Colossus, Puma Blue, or The Sophs. This breadth is important for seekers because the name Live Evil does not stand for a single style but for a curated stage with changing musical identities. This is why long-tail keywords like live evil black sabbath or live evil miles davis can also appear: the term is historically charged on one hand, while on the other hand, it is clearly positioned as a modern Munich location. For the place itself, the crucial message is that it remains open to genre boundaries and cannot be reduced to a single box. ([live-evil.de](https://www.live-evil.de/))
The atmosphere is well captured by the official language of the house. Live Evil sees itself as an unconventional event location, FAT CAT speaks of a cultural center with over 50 events per month, and media reports as well as community platforms describe the environment as lively, close, and full of movement between stage and bar. This is very tangible for visitors: One does not enter a distanced large space but a place where music, audience, and community come together closely. Especially at open sessions, intense club nights, or small concerts, a proximity is created that is often missed in large halls. For content strategies, this combination of club operation, concert calendar, and scene feeling is invaluable because it serves multiple search intentions simultaneously. Those entering live evil munich program, live evil session, or live evil fat cat munich are not just looking for a date but an experience with character. This experience is precisely what the place puts in the foreground: open, direct, urban, and significantly closer to the scene than to an anonymous event machine. ([live-evil.de](https://www.live-evil.de/))
Photos, Impressions, and Official Sources about Live Evil
The image search is also one of the important user questions for a location like Live Evil. Those searching for live evil photos usually want to get a first impression of the stage, bar, audience, and spatial feeling. The official channels are particularly useful for this because the Live Evil website refers to Instagram and FAT CAT additionally has its own section for video highlights and press contributions. This is practical because it consolidates image material, announcements, and impressions from ongoing operations. Rausgegangen complements this picture with event pages, where photos, credits, and community feedback are often found. This is valuable for SEO logic because visual search intentions often come just before a ticket decision. When someone sees a photo, they decide faster whether the place meets their expectations. Especially for a location that is a pop-up bar, club, session room, and concert venue at the same time, images help enormously to convey the atmosphere without lengthy texts. ([fatcat-muc.de](https://fatcat-muc.de/))
To categorize public perception, it is also worth taking a look at community and media sources. Rausgegangen regularly lists Live Evil as a location for concerts and sessions, and the Süddeutsche Zeitung describes the house in a recent portrait as full and lively, with a palpable operation between stage and bar. Such observations show that Live Evil not only functions on its own website but has also arrived in Munich's cultural everyday life. For seekers, this means: The location is not abstract but visible in the city and connected with concrete experiences. So if you are looking for photos, dates, or initial orientation, start with the official website, the FAT CAT calendar, and community-oriented event platforms. Together, they provide the best mix of current information, atmosphere, and practical planning. This is why Live Evil is a strong term for Munich: It connects a distinctive name with a place where music not only takes place but remains palpable in the everyday life of the city.
The venue is relatively small, but it’s great for parties and small-scale concerts! The bar area is spacious, and I think the drink selection is sufficient. During the Turkish Pop Night, the girl behind the bar with ponytails on both sides was super friendly and kind 🫶 There are 3 toilets in the women’s restroom, which might be enough for less crowded parties, but there’s usually a line overall. There’s also a separate area to leave your coat, you can check it in for a small fee (around 2–3€)..

I’ve mostly visited this place for special events, themed nights, or concerts, and every time it has been a great experience. The venue is very well-suited for this kind of activity — spacious enough but still cozy, with good sound and lighting that make each event enjoyable. The organization and atmosphere always feel well thought out, creating the right vibe for both live music and creative concepts. Definitely a solid choice for anyone looking to enjoy a fun night out or attend unique cultural events.

I lived in Munich for more than 5 years already, and it was my first time attending a show here. I LOVE ALLIE SHERLOCK. And it was such an amazing night!

I went to a small gathering/party and ended up getting to know everyone… literally, because we were packed in like Tetris on hard mode 😅 The place isn’t very big, but it has a fun vibe and good energy. Drinks are a bit on the pricey side — Munich prices, I guess — but okay. Slight surprise that you’re not allowed to step outside even for a minute with your drink, as if it might try to escape. Still, we had a good time: loud music, cheerful crowd, and overall not a bad experience at all. I’d go again… just next time I’ll do some stretching before going in 😄
