Old Pharmacy Family Center | Program & Room Rental
The Old Pharmacy Family Center in Höhenkirchen-Siegertsbrunn is much more than just a new name for a historic building. It combines the charm of a renovated, listed old pharmacy with a clear social mission: to bring families together, connect generations, and create a place where everyday life becomes easier. Since May 2023, the family center in the old pharmacy has been open and is aimed at parents, grandparents, children, and anyone looking for encounters, exchange, and reliable offerings. The location at Bahnhofstraße 30 is right in the center of town, making it suitable for both spontaneous visits and regularly scheduled courses and meetings. Particularly exciting is the mix of tradition and present: a building with history is now used as a lively meeting point where conversations, courses, open encounters, and community projects set the tone. This combination makes the place particularly relevant for SEO topics such as program, room rental, open meeting, toddler room, parking, and history. ([familienzentrum-alteapotheke.de](https://familienzentrum-alteapotheke.de/))
For seekers, this location is especially interesting when they need not just a room but a reliable framework for family activities, small events, or low-threshold meetings. The official website describes the family center as a place for encounters, exchange, joint activities, and support in everyday life. At the same time, the current program shows that not only individual appointments take place here, but a whole mix of formats: open meeting points, parent-child groups, supervised offerings, lectures, courses, and consultations. So, anyone looking for a family-friendly event location in Höhenkirchen-Siegertsbrunn will find a place here that combines practical infrastructure with social added value. This connection of functionality and atmosphere is valuable for families, initiatives, and small groups because they not only book a room but receive an environment that is already designed for encounters. ([familienzentrum-alteapotheke.de](https://familienzentrum-alteapotheke.de/))
Program, Open Meetings, and Courses for Families
The program is one of the most important reasons why the Old Pharmacy Family Center is searched for online. The official site states that everything that interests families with small children is offered there. Most events take place in the family café and are mostly free; if a fee is charged, it is mentioned directly with the respective course. Particularly important for reach is that the program is not only intended for families from Höhenkirchen-Siegertsbrunn. It is open to all parents, including people from the surrounding area looking for a well-organized, family-friendly contact point. The content ranges from parent-child groups to supervised playgroups to informational events and courses. An open parent and family consultation hour is also part of the offerings when support is needed in everyday life or in difficult situations. This makes the place a true family platform and not just an event space. The website also emphasizes that all events take place under a hygiene concept and that registrations can be conveniently made via email or online. ([familienzentrum-alteapotheke.de](https://familienzentrum-alteapotheke.de/programm/))
Particularly strong for keyword analysis are terms like courses, babysitter course, open meetings, and family café. The website provides concrete examples showing how broad the offerings are: babysitter courses take place several times a year on weekends, baby massage is offered as a multi-week course, and there is an open handcraft meeting where people sew, knit, and chat together. An open meeting with breakfast, waffles, cake, coffee, and tea is also part of the repertoire, making it a format that is intentionally low-threshold and places encounters at the center. For families with small children, this is practical because they receive not just a rigid course offering but a flexible mix of learning, exchange, and relief. From an SEO perspective, this diversity is a strong advantage: those searching for a family center, courses for parents, babysitter courses, or an open meeting will find a location here that actually fulfills these search intentions and regularly brings them to life. ([familienzentrum-alteapotheke.de](https://familienzentrum-alteapotheke.de/))
Inclusive Café Meeting and Everyday Encounters
A central unique feature of the Old Pharmacy Family Center is the inclusive café meeting. The official website describes it as the heart of the house and as a place where people with support needs or disabilities work together with volunteers. This form of collaboration makes the meeting not only socially valuable but also content-wise unique: it is not just about coffee and cake, but about participation, everyday experience, and open interaction. The café is intentionally kept small and is meant to be a place where families, neighbors, children, and older people are equally welcome. The website states that the meeting should be a place for family, young and old, inclusion, and encounters. For local perception, this is a strong profile because the house not only hosts events but also makes a visible stance. Those searching for a family center today often expect more than just room usage; this is where that added value becomes visible. ([familienzentrum-alteapotheke.de](https://familienzentrum-alteapotheke.de/))
Even the details in the café are SEO-relevant because they concretize the character of the place. For example, the website mentions a children's cappuccino, which shows that families with children are considered and that the meeting is not just a neutral waiting area. Additionally, the house works closely with the association Zukunft trotz Handicap, which underscores the inclusive orientation. For many visitors, this mix of warmth, practicality, and social responsibility is attractive: one can not only hold a meeting here but truly arrive. This also explains why the place works so well for open meetings, conversations, small breaks, and family encounters. The combination of café, community, and social engagement gives the location a strong emotional brand that clearly distinguishes it from the usual event space. So, anyone looking for a location for family celebrations, exchange, advice, or a small, personal meeting will find an environment here that does not feel sterile but is intentionally inviting and lively. ([familienzentrum-alteapotheke.de](https://familienzentrum-alteapotheke.de/))
Room Rental, Multipurpose Room, and Flexible Use
For inquiries regarding room rental, seminar room, workshop, or multipurpose room, the Old Pharmacy is also very interesting. The official room rental describes that the house offers a variety of usage options through different rooms and various equipment. The multipurpose room is equipped with tables, chairs, and a projector with a screen, making it suitable for seminars, workshops, lectures, and also for health or movement offerings. The café can also be used for seminars, lectures, courses, and encounters. Additionally, there are the rooms of the toddler room on the first floor, which provide space for childcare offerings for children up to five years old. Particularly practical is that the existing inventory can be used, such as dishes, dishwasher, and microwave. This makes the location not only flexible but also organizationally pleasant, as organizers need to bring less of their own material. This equipment is a real plus for small event formats, parent evenings, educational appointments, or local club work. ([familienzentrum-alteapotheke.de](https://familienzentrum-alteapotheke.de/angebote/raumvermietung/))
Important are also the conditions of the rental, as they show how the house is to be used. According to the website, private rentals are only possible for regular visitors of the family center or personally known individuals, subject to availability. The café can also only be rented outside of opening hours. A deposit of 100 euros is required for the key handover, and clear deadlines with staggered costs apply in case of cancellation. This initially sounds strict but makes the use transparent and planable. Also important for anyone wanting to organize an event on-site: parking spaces are available at the house. This practical information is often more decisive for users than any advertising slogan, as it directly influences the travel and booking decision. So, anyone looking for a quiet, family-friendly room with real infrastructure will find here not only a beautiful place but a clearly described usage concept. This is particularly relevant for SEO topics such as room rental, parking, multipurpose room, and small celebrations or courses in a family context. ([familienzentrum-alteapotheke.de](https://familienzentrum-alteapotheke.de/angebote/raumvermietung/))
Toddler Room, Playgroup, and Children's Bazaar
Another central building block of the location is the toddler room, which is closely linked to the current family center. According to the official website, it has a nearly 50-year history. It used to be a kind of daycare, and today it is a loving place for children and families with parent-child groups and playgroups. Since spring 2020, the toddler room has belonged to the AWO district association Munich-Land, and since May 2023, it has been back in the old pharmacy after several relocations, now as part of the new family center. This is particularly valuable from an editorial and SEO perspective because several search intentions come together here: parents are looking for playgroups, childcare, parent-child groups, or children's bazaars, and the page provides exactly this content. The toddler room is aimed at children from about three months to around three years old. In the playgroup, they are supervised by three educational professionals and gently introduced to experiences outside the family. ([familienzentrum-alteapotheke.de](https://familienzentrum-alteapotheke.de/zwergerlstube/zwergerlstube/))
The structure of the offerings is also clear and practical. The parent-child groups meet once a week for about two hours and are organized by the parents themselves. The playgroup takes place on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays in the morning and offers a small, reliable group with rituals, shared time, play, and first friendships. Additionally, the toddler bazaar takes place twice a year in spring and autumn and includes around 12,000 items according to the website. This attracts buyers and sellers from the southern district of Munich and has given the children's clothing market regional significance over the years. This mix of care, volunteer work, market, and encounters is enormously important for the profile of the location. It shows that the Old Pharmacy is not just a room for individual appointments but a vibrant hub for family life in the area. So, anyone searching for toddler room, playgroup, parent-child group, or children's bazaar will find real, established content with high relevance for the everyday life of young families. ([familienzentrum-alteapotheke.de](https://familienzentrum-alteapotheke.de/zwergerlstube/zwergerlstube/))
Parking, Contact, and History of the Old Pharmacy
For practical orientation, the location plays an important role. The family center Old Pharmacy is located at Bahnhofstraße 30 in 85635 Höhenkirchen-Siegertsbrunn. The official website clearly states the contact details, making booking and inquiries uncomplicated. Particularly useful for visitors and organizers is the information that parking spaces are available directly at the house. This makes the location well-suited for courses, parent evenings, meetings with children, or smaller events where travel and material transport are important. The location on Bahnhofstraße is also useful for anyone looking for a family-friendly center in the area that is easily identifiable and has a clear connection to the community. So, anyone searching in the Munich district for a family center with real infrastructure will find here not only an online offering but a real, easily accessible place with a phone number, email address, and regular program information. ([familienzentrum-alteapotheke.de](https://familienzentrum-alteapotheke.de/))
The history of the building additionally makes the location special. A Süddeutsche Zeitung research describes that the building was constructed in 1911 as a two-story residential building, opened the St. Leonhards pharmacy on the ground floor in 1956, and thus became the first pharmacy in Höhenkirchen and Siegertsbrunn. In 1990, the business moved to the new savings bank building due to space constraints, and the community later rented the house and purchased it in 2013. The building is listed as a historical monument, and care was taken during the renovation to preserve the historical interior. Today, the former pharmacy space serves again as a meeting point, but in a new function: as an open place for families, encounters, and community. This development is a good example of how a historic building can evolve into a modern social infrastructure. For local content, history, and regional storytelling, this is a strong anchor because it gives the place character. So, when visiting the family center, one experiences not only a program but also a piece of local history that has been consciously continued. ([sueddeutsche.de](https://www.sueddeutsche.de/muenchen/landkreismuenchen/denkmalschutz-verjuengungskur-fuer-die-alte-apotheke-1.5223591))
In everyday life, this character becomes particularly evident: the house was not simply renovated but rethought as a place of encounter. The community wanted to make the former pharmacy space a lively meeting point again, and that has succeeded. Today, families, volunteers, course leaders, children, and visitors from the area meet there. For search engines and users, this combination of history, function, and relevance is very strong because it answers several questions simultaneously: What is it? Where is it? What can I do there? And why is it special? The answers are: It is a family center, it is located in Höhenkirchen-Siegertsbrunn, it offers courses, meetings, and rooms, and it connects modern use with a listed building with real local history. This mix of practical relevance and emotional added value makes the Old Pharmacy a location that is memorable and works excellently in the local search context.
Very nice. It would be desirable to have dairy-free products for people who are lactose intolerant or vegan. Currently, everything contains cheese, butter, milk, or meat. I didn't see any plant-based milk alternatives for coffee.

It's a shame it's not well-known enough. The way it's been set up is fantastic. The service is lovely. It's a great place to meet people. I hope more people come. It's also perfect for a quick coffee or something.
