The official website describes the farm as a family farm with heart, aiming to make agriculture tangible while focusing on animals, nature, and regional farm products. ([reitsberger-hof.de](https://reitsberger-hof.de/))
For many seekers, the most important question is quite practical: Where is the farm located, what are the hours, and is it easy to find? The address is Baldhamer Str. 99 in 85591 Vaterstetten, near Munich. On the contact page, the farm provides clear visiting hours and simultaneously points out that the farm shop and vending machines are available for spontaneous use, while a short inquiry is advisable for other offerings. Opening Hours, Spontaneous Visits, and Parking at Reitsberger-Hof
The question about opening hours is one of the most searched topics related to Reitsberger-Hof, and the answer is pleasantly clear. According to the official contact page, the farm is open on Mondays and Thursdays to Sundays from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM; it is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Knowing these times allows for better planning of the visit and avoids unnecessary trips. At the same time, the website shows that the farm is not just a classic excursion destination with a rigid framework but also offers flexible elements. The farm shop and vending machines are described as available for spontaneous use, which is particularly practical if one just wants to stop by briefly or combine a small shopping trip with a family outing. The homepage even highlights the farm shop & vending machines area as open around the clock, while the contact page describes the general visiting framework of the farm with the mentioned daily hours. This combination is important for seekers as it shows that not every farm visit has to be organized the same way. ([reitsberger-hof.de](https://reitsberger-hof.de/kontakt/))
The question of how to get there is also closely related to the opening hours. Those coming on the right day usually do not want to search long for the entrance or feel uncertain about where to check in. The farm provides two clear points of contact for this: at the farm shop when it is open or at the event hall or pigeon loft. This appears particularly family-friendly to visitors, as orientation remains simple, and one does not have to search various buildings. For parents with children, birthday groups, and guests who may be coming for the first time, this is a significant advantage. Equally important is the note on parking areas. The farm explicitly states that there are marked parking areas and that parking on the meadows is not allowed. Especially at well-visited excursion destinations, a clean parking organization often determines whether the start is relaxed or hectic. The Reitsberger-Hof positions itself here as a clearly marked, easily usable experiential place with practical visitor comfort. ([reitsberger-hof.de](https://reitsberger-hof.de/kontakt/))
For the search intent Reitsberger-Hof parking, it is also interesting that the farm does not appear like a large parking lot but rather like an agriculturally shaped place where consideration for areas and operational processes is important. This also explains the request to keep the meadows clear: the farm remains primarily a working farm and only then an excursion destination. This balance defines its character. Those who just want to take something from the farm shop benefit from the uncomplicated access. Those planning a longer stay should look at the daily offerings in advance, as there are specific times and sometimes a registration for pony rides, children’s birthdays, or tours. Thus, a simple question about opening hours evolves into a complete visit plan that saves a lot of time in everyday life and sets expectations appropriately. For families, this is particularly pleasant because the stay does not have to be improvised but can be clearly structured from the beginning. ([reitsberger-hof.de](https://reitsberger-hof.de/kontakt/))
Photos, Animals, and Farm Life: Why Reitsberger-Hof is So Often Searched
Those searching for Reitsberger-Hof photos usually want to know if the trip is worth it, how the farm looks, and whether the atmosphere is rather calm, playful, or authentically rural. The official website provides a very clear answer: the farm presents itself as a lively experiential farm with ponies, cows, farm geese, pigs, rabbits, sheep, and goats. This selection of animals already makes the farm visually attractive and explains why images from Reitsberger-Hof are an important search reason for many users. In addition, motifs such as children’s birthdays with straw castles, ponies with hay, the farm with apple trees, and the family farm scene are included. The overall picture is not artificially staged but rural, friendly, and easily accessible. This is exactly what the farm conveys on its homepage: agriculture should be made tangible, animals should be kept respectfully, and visitors should be able to discover nature together outdoors. ([reitsberger-hof.de](https://reitsberger-hof.de/))
For families, this visual and content mix is particularly convincing. A farm with animals alone would already be attractive, but Reitsberger-Hof combines proximity to animals with play opportunities, a farm shop, events, and seasonal offerings. This creates not only individual photo motifs but a whole experience that is also suitable for a day trip or a short weekend trip. The images on the website signal exactly this variety: children’s birthdays, animals, nature, agriculture, and regional products. The wording barn, fields, and tractors on the website also emphasizes that this is not just a pure recreational area but a real agricultural operation at the center. For seekers who want to compare images in advance, this is a plus because they can already see before the visit that the place offers interesting impressions for both children and adults. This is a key reason why the farm is so strongly searched for Reitsberger-Hof photos and Reitsberger-Hof animals. ([reitsberger-hof.de](https://reitsberger-hof.de/))
In the user reviews attributed to the farm, these motifs repeat: family-friendliness, many animals, homemade dishes, fresh bread, and a pleasant farm feeling. Although visitors naturally evaluate individually differently, the feedback results in a fairly clear picture: the farm is perceived as a place where children can discover a lot, and adults can find a relaxed, authentic atmosphere at the same time. This explains the strong appeal for both photos and reviews. Those who want to get an idea before a visit often search not only for beautiful shots but for a feeling of whether a place is lively, well-kept, and suitable for various age groups. The Reitsberger-Hof meets exactly this expectation because it combines animal experiences, nature, and everyday proximity. This quickly turns the image search into a decision-making basis for the actual trip. ([reitsberger-hof.de](https://reitsberger-hof.de/))
Pony Riding, Children’s Birthdays, and Farm Tours for Families
A central theme around Reitsberger-Hof is pony riding, as this shows the farm to be particularly family-friendly. On the official pony riding page, a distinction is made between round riding in the courtyard and guided rides at the paddock. Round riding takes place on Fridays from 3 PM to 5 PM from March to November, the meeting point is at the egg vending machine, and no registration is required. It costs 2.50 euros per round, is only possible in dry, calm weather, and is suitable as a short, uncomplicated horse encounter for young visitors. For many families, this low-threshold form is interesting because one can come by without long preparation. Those who want a more intense experience can book guided rides at the paddock. These take place on Saturdays and Sundays at fixed times, run from April to November, last 45 minutes, and cost 30 euros. Here, registration is required, and the weekend dates are released online every Wednesday. ([reitsberger-hof.de](https://reitsberger-hof.de/ponyreiten/))
Especially helpful are the practical hints regarding the process. The farm recommends being at the meeting point ten minutes before the start, wearing sturdy shoes and weather-appropriate clothing, and planning a riding or bicycle helmet for children. The page also provides a rough age recommendation of three to ten years for pony use, with younger children only allowed to participate when accompanied by an adult. These details show that pony riding is not just sold as a mere fun point but as a supervised, child-friendly organized offering. This is an important trust criterion for parents. Additionally, there is weather sensitivity: round riding is only offered in dry, calm weather, while rides may be possible in light rain under certain circumstances. This honest communication makes the Reitsberger-Hof credible because it creates realistic expectations and makes cancellations or rescheduling understandable. ([reitsberger-hof.de](https://reitsberger-hof.de/ponyreiten/))
Children’s birthdays are also among the frequently searched topics because the farm offers a well-rounded overall package here. The official page describes birthdays with a farm tour, animals, straw castle, and optional pony riding. The standard framework includes up to ten children and two accompanying persons, about 3.5 hours of stay, and a price starting from 150 euros. Depending on the weather, the birthday can take place outdoors under apple trees, under a canopy, or in heated rooms. Activities include a farm tour, getting to know animals, play and fun at the straw castle or playground, and a picnic or barbecue area, with catering allowed to be brought along. The farm also openly answers practical questions: seating is described, own food and drinks are allowed, and registration takes place at the farm shop or pigeon loft. For parents looking for an uncomplicated children’s birthday with animals, this is a very strong combination. ([reitsberger-hof.de](https://reitsberger-hof.de/bauernhof/kindergeburtstage/))
Additionally, the farm offers farm tours, which are particularly aimed at schools and daycare centers and promise hands-on agriculture. Although these offerings run by appointment, they fit well into the profile of the operation: the Reitsberger-Hof is not only a place for leisure and celebrations but also for education and nature experiences. This explains why search queries related to pony riding, children’s birthdays, tours, and family outings are so closely linked. Those visiting the farm not only receive entertainment but an experiential form of agriculture where animals, farm life, and being outdoors together are at the center. This connection of experience and authenticity makes the offerings so relevant. ([reitsberger-hof.de](https://reitsberger-hof.de/))
Farm Shop, Vending Machines, Fruit Processing, and Landlust at the Farm
Another focus of the search queries concerns the farm shop and culinary offerings. The homepage describes the farm shop & vending machines area as an uncomplicated way to take home fresh eggs, preserves, and Landlust products. This fits well with a farm that is perceived not only as a destination but also as a local supplier with a regional character. Visitors can apparently take something with them even if they are not coming for a longer stay. This makes the farm attractive for people searching for Reitsberger-Hof farm shop or Reitsberger-Hof not Wirtshaus: they want to know if there is something authentic, regional, and direct. The answer is clear: yes, the farm offers products that are closely linked to the agricultural operation and underscore the character of the place. ([reitsberger-hof.de](https://reitsberger-hof.de/))
Particularly interesting is the fruit processing, as it gives the farm an additional artisanal depth. According to the official website, visitors can deliver their own fruit, especially apples and pears, and the farm presses fresh juice from it. The cider press works with gentle belt pressing, pasteurization, and filling in 5-liter bag-in-box systems. The season runs from late August to November, the cider press is open from Tuesday to Saturday, and fruit can be delivered daily. Prices and notes are also transparently stated: with box 7 euros, with own used box 6 euros. This openness is important for seekers as it shows that fruit processing is not a decorative side offering but a functioning, well-explained part of the farm operation. Those looking for quality, regional processing, and practical processes will find exactly the information needed for a decision here. ([reitsberger-hof.de](https://reitsberger-hof.de/bauernhof/obstverwertung/))
Also included in the fruit processing is the farm distillery or farm schnapps. The farm describes that its own farm schnapps is produced, which can be tasted in the Landlust inn. Regional raw materials are mentioned, a year-round fruit distillery with a main time starting in October, and varieties such as apple, pear, plum, and mirabelle. Sales take place in the Wirtshaus Landlust and upon request. This shows that the Reitsberger-Hof also positions itself culinarily beyond the pure menu. So, those searching for beer gardens, inns, or regional cuisine will find at the farm primarily the addition through Landlust, not an anonymous gastro area. The official website presents this connection as part of farm life and not as a mere ancillary business. This keeps the overall picture coherent: farm products, processing on-site, and hospitality interlink. ([reitsberger-hof.de](https://reitsberger-hof.de/hofschnaps/))
The Wirtshaus Landlust itself is described on the homepage as a place with delicious, regional cuisine directly at the farm. Thus, the culinary answer to the search intent is clear: the Reitsberger-Hof is the experiential farm, Landlust is the gastronomic counterpart at the same location. This is particularly practical for excursions with children or family celebrations, as one can combine experiencing and eating. So, for those who do not just want to be outdoors but want to round off the visit comfortably, the farm offers a clear option. This combination of farm shop, fruit processing, farm schnapps, and inn makes the farm more widely usable than many other excursion destinations in the region. And that is precisely why so many different terms appear in search queries, even though they all target the same place. ([reitsberger-hof.de](https://reitsberger-hof.de/))
History, Development, and Practical Classification of Reitsberger-Hof
The farm chronicle shows that the Reitsberger-Hof is much more than a modern excursion destination. As early as 1823, the mason Franz Litzelfelder acquired half a plot of land, and in 1829 a separate farmstead was established. Over the decades, ownership and use changed multiple times. In 1911, Anna Stürzer and Balthasar Reitsberger got married; after his return from Russian war captivity, a new generation of the family returned to the farm in 1948/49 with Balthasar Reitsberger. In 1956, the farm was expanded with a dairy barn and machinery hall, and in 1995 a new, spacious farmstead was established on the outskirts, where today’s experiential farm opened its doors. This development is important because it shows that the farm does not use tradition as decoration but as a grown foundation. Agriculture, family history, and today’s visitor offerings form a unity here. ([reitsberger-hof.de](https://reitsberger-hof.de/hofchronik/))
This historical depth also explains why the Reitsberger-Hof credibly presents itself as a family farm with heart. The chronicle explicitly states that the farm today connects tradition with the future, aims to make agriculture tangible, and offers regional products directly at the farm. This is not a marketing phrase without content but a fitting summary of the offerings found on the other pages: animals, pony riding, children’s birthdays, farm shop, fruit processing, and events. Those searching for reviews often want to know if a place is truly authentic or just gives the appearance of a farm experience. At Reitsberger-Hof, the website structure, the variety of offerings, and the historical development clearly speak for a real agricultural operation with visitor openings. The notes on parking, registration, and weather situations also show that this is a real farm operation and not an artificial leisure project. ([reitsberger-hof.de](https://reitsberger-hof.de/hofchronik/))
The visitor perspective fits well with this image. In the feedback associated with the farm, family-friendliness, animals, homemade dishes, fresh bread, friendly staff, and free parking dominate. Such impressions explain why the farm is so strongly searched in search engines for opening hours, photos, reviews, and the difference to the Wirtshaus. The Reitsberger-Hof is a place for people seeking closeness to animals, nature, and regional quality, but at the same time need practical information. This is exactly why clear visiting times, marked parking areas, and simple meeting points work so well. The farm does not appear staged but grounded, open, and family-oriented. For many, this is the real added value: an outing that feels natural and remains well-planned organizationally. ([reitsberger-hof.de](https://reitsberger-hof.de/kontakt/))
So, for those who do not want to confuse the Reitsberger-Hof with the Wirtshaus Landlust, it can be understood as what the website itself highlights: an experiential farm near Munich with animals, a farm shop, fruit processing, pony riding, and space for family moments. The searched terms around photos, opening hours, beer garden, or reviews are ultimately just different doors to the same answer. Behind them stands a farm that has grown for generations, today welcomes visitors, and makes agriculture tangible in everyday life. This makes the Reitsberger-Hof a versatile destination for family outings, spontaneous stops, birthday celebrations, and all those looking for a real farm with clear information. This is where its strength lies: it is regional, practical, warm, and very transparent in its structure. ([reitsberger-hof.de](https://reitsberger-hof.de/))

Reitsberger-Hof (not Wirtshaus) | Opening Hours & Photos
The Reitsberger-Hof in Vaterstetten is not just any place for a quick stop, but a developed experiential farm with family history, animals, regional products, and many offerings for children and adults. Those searching for photos, opening hours, pony rides, or reviews usually want to quickly understand what this farm really is: a lively farm with hands-on agriculture, a farm shop, fruit processing, events, and the culinary additional offerings around the Wirtshaus Landlust. This very mix makes the search queries so interesting, as the Reitsberger-Hof is perceived by visitors not only as a destination for excursions but also as a place for birthdays, encounters with animals, and relaxed hours in nature.
So, those searching for Reitsberger-Hof opening hours not only get a time but also an impression of how flexible the farm visit can be. Additionally, there are marked parking areas and the important information that parking is not allowed on the meadows. These details are particularly valuable for families, grandparents with grandchildren, and excursion guests as they significantly ease the journey. ([reitsberger-hof.de](https://reitsberger-hof.de/kontakt/))
Such a nice place to visit with kids with lots of animals to see and pet, really nice café with homemade food, playground for kids, bakery, regional food to buy and free parking. Perfect place for a few hours with kids. There is also an option to celebrate birthdays. Horse riding needs to be booked in advance.

Great farm experience. My son loves this place, we have been there a few times already but will keep coming back for sure especially for pony riding. Also, attractions like sitting on an old tractor and seeing farm animals are big fun for kids. The restaurant is lovely too as the food and the ambiance.
