There are two 'The Flag' hotels in Munich, make sure you triple check you're going to the right one :-) The room was clean. It had two comfortable twin beds as requested, a TV and a small kitchenette with a fridge (with complimentary water and beer), sink, microwave and some cutlery and utensils. The bathroom had a shower/toilet/sink and towels. Cleaning is not daily but rather every 3 days I believe. The room has a small balcony, with an outdoor blind for privacy. Hotel is clean and modern in general with friendly staff. It has a rooftop and a gym (although did not visit). Wifi is excellent. My only negative is the room was rather hot at times, but I'm sure the staff would have rectified it if we had told them. Worth noting and my only negative is that the shower is not completely private with there being an unnecessary small glass panel in the wall of the shower allowing one to see into the bedroom and vice versa. If you are a light sleeper and the person you share a room with goes to the bathroom during the night, you will also likely be woken up by the light. The bathroom door is also sliding and does not completely shut/lock. Also, there is one soap for body/hair provided - there should be an antibacterial hand washing soap too. This hotel is in Moosach. The walk to the local train station is just under 10 minutes, then it's around 15-20 minutes to get to Marianplatz on the U-Bahn. There is a supermarket a 5 minute walk away.

Good things first: Clean room, value for money. The location is very convenient and you can ride the S/U-Bahn to the city centre or the S-Bahn to the airport. The staff were very polite and helpful. The bad things: For absolutely no reason at all, there's a bathroom window looking directly INTO the room. I've never seen anything like that before and I don't know the reason behind it. And given that the room was a twin, not a double, it sounds even more ridiculous. So if you're staying with a friend or a member of your family what are you doing? Also, even cheaper hotels have more amenities in the bathroom. Just one bottle of shower gel/shampoo. Not even a small soap for handwashing? How expensive would that be?

Perfect offer with a good deal! Spacious and clean room, housekeeping is very detailed, well-equipped kitchen and the shower is amazing! Free beer tastes good. I enjoy my stay to the maximum.

The room was clean and perfectly comfortable for two. A great feature for me, as a coffee lover, was the in-room coffee machine. The food was good, but the true highlight was the staff, who were amazing and professional. I highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable and pleasant experience in Munich.

My husband and I had an amazing stay here. The decor was very inviting. The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Nina. The room was comfortable. The hotel is a quick walk to the train station. Would definitely stay here again!
