TonHalle Munich | Concerts & Parking

The TonHalle Munich in Werksviertel-Mitte is one of the most distinctive event and concert venues in Munich because it closely connects industrial history, flexible use, and a central location. The hall is located at Atelierstraße 24 in Munich-Berg am Laim, just a few minutes from the Ostbahnhof, and is now used for concerts, parties, shows, fairs, public viewing, conferences, and corporate events. Those searching for TonHalle Munich today, TonHalle Munich program, TonHalle Munich tickets, or TonHalle Munich address will find a venue that works for both public events and B2B formats. The character of the former Pfanni warehouse, which has become a versatile event space with urban flair, is particularly defining. This makes the TonHalle attractive for visitors seeking live experiences and for organizers needing a flexible hall with clear infrastructure, gallery, and technical potential. ([eventfabrik-muenchen.de](https://www.eventfabrik-muenchen.de/location/tonhalle-muenchen/))

For many users, the most important question is not only what is happening at the TonHalle Munich but also how to quickly find the right event. This is where the official calendar helps: It consolidates upcoming dates, can be sorted by search term, location, category, and month, and thus shows directly whether one is currently looking for a concert today, a specific program, or an event in the current year. The ticket logic is also clearly regulated: Pre-sales are exclusively handled by the respective organizer, and the Eventfabrik Munich only informs about individual dates, ticket partners, and the box office. This makes the TonHalle Munich particularly relevant for search queries like program, events, concert today, and tickets, as visitors receive both current dates and practical information about entry and sales on an official page. TonHalle Munich today: Program, concerts, and events

Those searching for TonHalle Munich today usually want to quickly know what is currently happening, whether there are still tickets available, and how the program is structured. The official page of the Eventfabrik Munich provides a continuously updated overview of upcoming dates. Not only concerts are listed there, but also other event formats that are typical for the hall. The spectrum ranges from cultural events to corporate formats; the city of Munich additionally mentions fairs, shows, flea markets, and public viewing as typical uses. For the TonHalle Munich, this is an important SEO topic, as the hall is not perceived as a single-purpose venue but as a flexible event location that addresses a wide range of target groups. This breadth explains why search queries like TonHalle Munich events, TonHalle Munich program, or TonHalle Munich concerts are so strongly interconnected. ([eventfabrik-muenchen.de](https://www.eventfabrik-muenchen.de/en/location/tonhalle-muenchen/))

The question about TonHalle Munich today or TonHalle Munich concert today can also be answered most reliably through the official program page. There, the schedule with upcoming dates is displayed, and visitors can immediately see whether an event is already sold out or if tickets are still available. According to Eventfabrik, the box office is mentioned at the latest in the respective calendar entry and opens at the specified entry time. This is important for everyone who decides at short notice or arrives only on the day of the event. For search engines, it is also relevant that the hall is explicitly described in the official texts as a place for concerts and events, with a clear focus on live events. This means that the TonHalle Munich precisely meets the user intent behind the keywords TonHalle Munich concerts, TonHalle Munich program, and TonHalle Munich today. ([eventfabrik-muenchen.de](https://www.eventfabrik-muenchen.de/en/location/tonhalle-muenchen/))

It is particularly helpful that the event list does not appear static but can be filtered by several criteria. So, for example, if someone is looking for a specific concert style, a month, or a location in Werksviertel, they can narrow down the search. This is practical for visitors because they can keep an eye on not just a single event but the entire current offering. For SEO, this structure is valuable because it addresses the search intent behind TonHalle Munich program and TonHalle Munich events and responds with real service elements. The official texts also make it clear that the hall can be used both culturally and commercially in versatile ways. This underscores the location as a modern event venue with high frequency and a broad range of uses, without losing its industrial origin. ([eventfabrik-muenchen.de](https://www.eventfabrik-muenchen.de/en/location/tonhalle-muenchen/))

Parking and access to TonHalle Munich: How guests can travel comfortably

The keyword TonHalle Munich parking is almost as important for many visitors as the program itself, as the location in Werksviertel-Mitte requires good planning. Officially, the TonHalle is described as a location near the Ostbahnhof, and access via public transport is very well developed. The Eventfabrik mentions connections via the Ostbahnhof with S-Bahn S1 to S8, U5, tram 19, and several bus lines; the site explicitly recommends arriving by public transport, on foot, or by bicycle. Additionally, the city of Munich refers to normal parking spaces on the premises with access via Grafinger Straße 6 as well as four spaces in the Werksviertel Mitte underground garage. It is clear: The TonHalle Munich is accessible by car, but the official logic clearly emphasizes a stress-free public transport access. ([eventfabrik-muenchen.de](https://www.eventfabrik-muenchen.de/en/anfahrt/))

For those who still come by car, there are further structured parking options in Werksviertel. The access page mentions Car Storage at Atelierstraße 8 with 400 parking spaces and the Autosaal at Atelierstraße 5 with 323 parking spaces; day and night flat rates are also described there. For the SEO relevance of the term TonHalle Munich Maps, it is important that the official venue page directly refers to Google Maps, thereby facilitating orientation on-site. Visitors can see not only the address but also the location in the quarter and the direct integration into Werksviertel. For those looking to quickly check the route before a concert, this is a significant advantage, as the address, map view, and parking options can be found in one central place. ([eventfabrik-muenchen.de](https://www.eventfabrik-muenchen.de/en/anfahrt/))

An additional practical point is the environmental zone. The Eventfabrik points out that Werksviertel-Mitte is located in the environmental zone and can only be accessed with a green sticker. Those without a suitable sticker are referred to Park and Ride spaces in Munich. This information is particularly valuable for visitors coming from the surrounding area or driving to the hall for the first time. In the search logic, this fits perfectly with TonHalle Munich parking and TonHalle Munich address, as users want not only the address but also realistic travel planning. Together with the immediate proximity to the Ostbahnhof and the official parking offers, this creates a very service-oriented image that makes the TonHalle planable and practical for event guests. ([eventfabrik-muenchen.de](https://www.eventfabrik-muenchen.de/en/anfahrt/))

TonHalle Munich capacity and seats: How many people fit inside?

Capacity is one of the most important topics for the TonHalle Munich, as many search queries directly target TonHalle Munich capacity, TonHalle Munich seats, or TonHalle Munich how many people fit. The official factsheet states that the hall has an unseated capacity of up to 2,022 people, a row seating of up to 894 seats, and a banquet seating of up to 600 guests. At the same time, the city of Munich provides rounded values and describes the hall with 1,000 to 2,000 unseated places, up to 900 row seats, and up to 600 banquet seats. Both figures present the same picture: The TonHalle Munich is large enough for strong audience formats but remains clearly in the range of a medium to large event location. For users, this size is important as it immediately shows whether the hall is suitable for concerts, show formats, corporate events, or something more exclusive. ([eventfabrik-muenchen.de](https://www.eventfabrik-muenchen.de/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/efm_de_venue_tonhalle-muenchen.pdf))

The area data explains this flexibility very well. According to the venue factsheet, the ground floor encompasses 1,002.99 square meters, the gallery 230.47 square meters, the hall is 37.95 meters long and 28.92 meters wide, and the height varies between 4.31 and 7.16 meters depending on the area. For organizers, this means that different seating arrangements and event settings can be realized without the hall losing its open effect. Especially for concert and show formats, this mix of size and structure is important as it supports good audience guidance and clear sightline planning. For visitors, the brightness of the room logic is relevant because it creates a generous spatial feeling that distinguishes the TonHalle from smaller clubs or traditional theater halls. ([eventfabrik-muenchen.de](https://www.eventfabrik-muenchen.de/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/efm_de_venue_tonhalle-muenchen.pdf))

Also regarding seats and seating, the TonHalle Munich provides concrete answers. The official page of the Eventfabrik offers download plans for various seating arrangements and explicitly mentions row, parliament, gala, and table seating as possible forms. This makes the location interesting not only for standing concerts but also for conferences, presentations, fairs, and banquets. The question of the best seats depends in practice on the respective setup, which is why it makes sense to check the specific room plan for the booked event. This is exactly why search queries like TonHalle Munich seats or TonHalle Munich seating plan are so relevant: users want to know how the hall is configured in each case and what view of the stage or action area is offered. ([eventfabrik-muenchen.de](https://www.eventfabrik-muenchen.de/location/tonhalle-muenchen/))

Coat check, food, and technology at TonHalle Munich

At an event location like TonHalle Munich, coat check, catering, and technology are among the questions that visitors and organizers ask most frequently. The official venue description mentions atmospheric LED basic lighting, event and presentation technology on request, catering as desired or with an in-house caterer, as well as offices and artist dressing rooms. The factsheet adds to this impression with specific ancillary rooms: artist dressing rooms with different areas, production offices, and a catering area of 69 square meters. For search queries like TonHalle Munich coat check or TonHalle Munich food, this is very valuable because the hall becomes visible not just as a space but as a functioning event infrastructure. Visitors do not have to wonder whether there are service areas; the official data clearly shows that they exist. ([eventfabrik-muenchen.de](https://www.eventfabrik-muenchen.de/location/tonhalle-muenchen/))

The technical equipment is a significant USP for the TonHalle Munich. The factsheet mentions a variable stage with a standard size of 12 x 8 x 1.2 meters, a bandwidth for WLAN of up to 20 Mbit/s in download and 20 Mbit/s in upload, as well as various power connections in the gallery, outdoor area, behind the stage, and in the hall area. Additionally, forklifts, aerial work platforms, and ladders are mentioned as working equipment upon request. This shows that the hall is not only visually flexible but also suitable for complex production processes. Especially for complex show productions, concert setups, or corporate presentations, this is a strong argument because technology, logistics, and room structure fit together. ([eventfabrik-muenchen.de](https://www.eventfabrik-muenchen.de/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/efm_de_venue_tonhalle-muenchen.pdf))

Also in the service area, the TonHalle Munich appears very well thought out. The official description mentions security and entry personnel, bar and service staff, as well as coat check attendants. This means that the operational level for events has already been considered instead of being improvised during the project phase. For organizers, it is particularly interesting that the location can be understood as a complete package: food and beverages, seating, decoration, technology, and staff can be organized from a single source. This combination of flexibility and infrastructure makes the TonHalle Munich interesting for conferences, congresses, fairs, trade shows, corporate events, and presentations. For SEO, this mix is important because it naturally connects the terms coat check, food, technology, and events. ([eventfabrik-muenchen.de](https://www.eventfabrik-muenchen.de/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/efm_de_venue_tonhalle-muenchen.pdf))

History and special features of TonHalle Munich in Werksviertel

The special effect of TonHalle Munich is strongly related to its history. On the official page of Werksviertel-Mitte, the hall is described as a former potato storage hall that once housed millions of potatoes from the Pfanni era. Today, according to the operator, it radiates a unique atmosphere due to its versatility and is suitable for both B2B and cultural events. This transformation from an industrial building to an event location makes the TonHalle so distinctive. When entering the hall, one experiences not only an event space but also a piece of Munich's urban development that makes the transformation of the Werksviertel visible. For visitors, this is an emotional added value, and for organizers, it provides a strong architectural framework that does not appear arbitrary. ([werksviertel-mitte.de](https://www.werksviertel-mitte.de/orte/tonhalle-muenchen/))

The Werksviertel itself also contributes to the special perception. The Eventfabrik Munich describes the quarter as a place with repurposed industrial buildings and numerous new constructions that create a unique urban tension in Munich. This fits perfectly with the TonHalle, as it preserves the historical industrial character while also having modern equipment, flexible spaces, and professional event logic. This connection makes the hall attractive for concerts and events that should not only be functional but also atmospheric. Those searching for TonHalle Munich concert, TonHalle Munich events, or TonHalle Munich today often seek exactly this feeling: a live experience in a location with character rather than in an interchangeable standard hall. ([eventfabrik-muenchen.de](https://www.eventfabrik-muenchen.de/?utm_source=openai))

The TonHalle also benefits from the fact that its architecture and size are suitable for different event types. The official description calls it a place where almost any event is possible, from congresses to evening formats. This universal claim explains why the hall is so present in the Munich event market. It is neither too small for professional productions nor so large that it appears impersonal for medium-sized formats. Instead, it provides a clear identity with gallery, flexible room structure, and industrial atmosphere. For SEO, this is invaluable because search terms like capacity, seats, concerts, and events do not appear in isolation here but converge in a real usage context. ([eventfabrik-muenchen.de](https://www.eventfabrik-muenchen.de/location/tonhalle-muenchen/))

Tickets, accessibility, and jobs: What visitors and organizers should know

Those interested in tickets should know that pre-sales for TonHalle Munich do not run through the Eventfabrik itself. According to the official FAQ, tickets are sold exclusively by the respective organizer; the Eventfabrik informs about the ticket partners in the calendar but cannot make statements about available tickets. The event page also states that the box office is only mentioned in the calendar entry on the day of the event and opens at the specified entry time. This is helpful for anyone looking for TonHalle Munich tickets, TonHalle Munich concert today, or TonHalle Munich program and wanting to decide at short notice. This keeps the ticket logic transparent and event-related, which is particularly important for changing acts and event formats. ([eventfabrik-muenchen.de](https://www.eventfabrik-muenchen.de/en/location/tonhalle-muenchen/))

There is also clear guidance on accessibility. The city of Munich mentions a ground-level access, a barrier-free WC, and wheelchair spaces depending on the event. For visitors with mobility impairments, this means that the location is fundamentally designed for barrier-free access, but the specific seating situation should always be checked for the respective event. This is why the question of barrier-free offers at TonHalle Munich is relevant, even if it is not among the largest search terms. Those planning visits, travel, or wheelchair spaces should always check the event details for updates, as different setups allow for different solutions. ([muenchen.de](https://www.muenchen.de/veranstaltungen/veranstaltungsorte/tonhalle?field_event_location_target_id=919&page=1&search=1&type=paragraph&utm_source=openai))

An additional point for seekers is the topic of jobs. Those searching for TonHalle Munich jobs will logically end up at the career page of Eventfabrik Munich. There, jobs in the area of events, culture, and concerts are described, and the company emphasizes its role in Werksviertel-Mitte as well as its work on events and in daily operations. For search intent, this is important because TonHalle Munich is visible not only as a guest location but also as an employer and production environment. This means that the location page covers not only visitor questions but also career perspectives in a dynamic event environment. ([eventfabrik-muenchen.de](https://www.eventfabrik-muenchen.de/karriere/?utm_source=openai))

In summary, the TonHalle Munich is a location that immediately provides the right answer to many search queries: program, concerts, parking, address, capacity, seats, coat check, food, accessibility, and jobs. Its strength lies in the combination of industrial cultural charm and professional event logic. Those wishing to attend a concert receive a clear travel and ticket structure. Those planning an event find flexible spaces, technical equipment, and service areas. And those seeing the hall for the first time experience an example of how a former industrial building has become a vibrant cultural and event venue. This mix makes the TonHalle Munich one of the most prominent event addresses in eastern Munich. ([eventfabrik-muenchen.de](https://www.eventfabrik-muenchen.de/location/tonhalle-muenchen/))

The audio quality was extremely horrible. I could barely hear the vocals. I went to the Wolf Alice concert and the artist put so much effort in but the venue did no justice to them.

-The sound system is terrible. You can barely hear the singers. -In 2026, you can only buy drinks with cash?! -There is no air inside, it is so hot, very hard to move. Forget about dancing. And it is not even summer.

Good venue for concerts! Visited it for Tom's Odell concert in September. It was warm inside, and enough place for all people. Nevertheless, if you want to stay in the first rows, come around 30-40 minutes in advance.

Honestly terrible. No regards about people's safety whatsoever. People getting dizzy throwing up and honestly no one would care or seem to try and help people who needed help. Careless staff. Also when sold out, the venue is honestly dangerous. The crowd from the back pushes people in the front against the barriers to the point you cannot breathe. Little to no ventilation. Honestly the venue made this concert not as fun as it should have been. You should not have to choose between being in the front, being able to see and unable to breathe and being in the back and being able to breathe but unable to see. Edit: the answer I received just completely proves my point. obviously it's gonna be crowded, I'm talking about not being able to breathe (huge difference) Terrible

Great little venue! Went here to see Flogging Molly and Ferocious Dog on July 27th. Loved the atmosphere and feel of the place. Acoustics are great, and the German beer also went down well!
