Wildfreizeitpark Oberreith | Opening Hours & Prices
The Wildfreizeitpark Oberreith is located at Oberreith 6a in Unterreit, in a quiet forest and meadow landscape near Wasserburg am Inn. This location makes the park particularly attractive for families, school classes, kindergartens, outings with friends, and small day trips that combine nature and movement. Visitors will find a wide range of animal encounters, play areas, an indoor hall, a treetop adventure park, Mega-Fox, a park railway, and dining options on the premises. The over 2.4-kilometer circular path serves as a nature trail and connects enclosures, aviaries, pond facilities, biotopes, a bee observation house, and a petting zoo. So, if you are looking for a destination that combines animals, learning, movement, and dining in a compact space, you will find a park here with a clear family orientation and many opportunities for a whole day outdoors. ([wildpark-oberreith.de](https://www.wildpark-oberreith.de/))
The mix of classic wildlife park elements and recreational offerings is one of the main reasons why the location is so frequently sought after. The park appeals not only to people who want to see animals but also to visitors looking for a playground, a weatherproof retreat, climbing fun, or a zip line. In addition, there are dining options, rooms for celebrations, children's birthdays, and a well-signposted access area with free parking. Topics such as opening hours, prices, dogs, weather, and the Flying Fox also play a significant role in daily operations, as they are crucial for planning visits. That is why it is worthwhile to take a closer look at the practical information: Knowing the season saves time. Knowing the price structure allows for more relaxed planning. And knowing which attractions are open in which weather allows for a much more fulfilling visit. ([wildpark-oberreith.de](https://www.wildpark-oberreith.de/))
Opening Hours 2026, Weather, and Seasonal Planning
For planning a visit, the opening hours at Wildfreizeitpark Oberreith are a central topic. In 2026, the park is open daily from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM during the summer season outside of school holidays, without a day off. During the Whitsun and summer holidays, the hours extend to daily from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Starting from November 9, 2026, winter hours apply: then the Wildfreizeitpark opens outside of holidays from Wednesday to Friday from 12:30 PM to 6:00 PM and on Saturdays and Sundays from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM; during the winter and carnival holidays, it is open daily from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. This clear seasonal structure helps especially families who want to plan their outing firmly and do not want to find themselves in front of closed doors spontaneously. For groups and classes, appointments outside of regular opening hours are also possible upon request. ([wildpark-oberreith.de](https://www.wildpark-oberreith.de/infos/%C3%B6ffnungszeiten/))
Weather plays an important role at Wildfreizeitpark Oberreith because not all areas react the same way. The park explicitly points out that opening hours may change in bad weather. Especially at the treetop adventure park and the Mega-Fox, weather-dependent regulations apply: The treetop adventure park remains closed in case of heavy rain, strong winds, or thunderstorms, and the Mega-Fox may also close in unfavorable weather conditions. In practice, this means: If you are planning a longer journey, you should check the current status on the day of your visit, especially if the focus is on climbing or zip-lining. At the same time, the structure of the park shows that a visit can still be worthwhile even in changeable weather because the indoor hall provides an area that is independent of the weather. This allows for a much more flexible outing in Oberreith than in a purely outdoor-based recreational offering. ([wildpark-oberreith.de](https://www.wildpark-oberreith.de/infos/%C3%B6ffnungszeiten/))
The attractions themselves also follow a clear seasonal logic. The Mega-Fox is open in 2026 from March 14 to November 8, on Saturdays, Sundays, and during the Easter holidays from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM, and during the Whitsun and summer holidays daily from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM. In the autumn holidays, it is open daily from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM, but only in good weather. For families with children, this is particularly relevant because it allows for better decisions on whether the outing is intended as a full park day or a short action visit. Those visiting the park in spring or early summer often have the best combination of open outdoor areas, pleasant weather, and long stay times. For autumn and winter, one should rather expect shorter time frames and a stronger focus on the weatherproof parts of the park. ([wildpark-oberreith.de](https://www.wildpark-oberreith.de/infos/%C3%B6ffnungszeiten/))
Prices 2026, Tickets, and Vouchers at Wildfreizeitpark Oberreith
Regarding prices, the Wildfreizeitpark Oberreith is clearly structured in 2026. Admission to the Wildfreizeitpark and the indoor hall costs 10.90 euros for adults aged 15 and over, and 9.60 euros for children aged 3 to 14 years. Reduced tickets are available for people with disabilities, retirees, students, and pupils at a price of 9.90 euros each. Annual passes are also offered: adults pay 75.00 euros, children 66.00 euros. Important for daily planning is also that the indoor hall is already included in the park admission. Those who want to use the hall only need the Wildpark anti-slip socks, which cost 3.00 euros per pair. This makes the price structure transparent and especially easier for families to calculate because the essential components of a visit are already included in the admission fee. ([wildpark-oberreith.de](https://www.wildpark-oberreith.de/infos/preise/))
The other areas are also clearly priced. The treetop adventure park can only be used in conjunction with admission to the Wildfreizeitpark and costs 18.70 euros for adults; retirees, students, and pupils pay 16.90 euros, and the beginner area costs 9.00 euros. The Mega-Flying-Fox costs regularly 12.00 euros for individuals between 30 and 120 kilograms and 11.00 euros in conjunction with the treetop adventure park. According to the park, prices are always adjusted during the Christmas holidays, which shows that visitors should always pay attention to the current annual version when searching for prices. There is also a shop section on the website with vouchers, which meaningfully covers the target keyword voucher, even if the specific redemption or tiering should be checked separately. For those looking for gifts, this is particularly practical because a park day or an adventure package can be easily gifted. ([wildpark-oberreith.de](https://www.wildpark-oberreith.de/infos/preise/))
Additionally, there are clear regulations for families with small children and people in need of assistance. Children under 3 years receive free admission but must bring proof of age. If no ID can be presented, children over 90 centimeters in height require a valid ticket. For people with disabilities, the park grants a discount regardless of the degree of disability; if there is an H or B in the ID, accompanying persons receive free admission, provided they are adults and do not have a severe disability ID. This level of detail is particularly important for search queries regarding prices, vouchers, or family conditions because it positions the park as a well-planned destination with understandable rules. So, those who think about admission costs and additional offers can budget a visit much more precisely. ([wildpark-oberreith.de](https://www.wildpark-oberreith.de/infos/preise/))
Directions to Oberreith, Address, and Free Parking
The directions to a destination in a rural area are a particularly important search term, and the Wildfreizeitpark Oberreith addresses this point very specifically. The address is Oberreith 6a, D-83567 Unterreit. On-site, according to the official directions page, there are sufficient free parking spaces available for cars and buses. This is a clear advantage for families, travel groups, and school trips, as the search for parking is eliminated and the visit can begin directly in a relaxed manner. Especially for longer outings or multiple family cars, a free parking space is a strong practical plus that simplifies planning. ([wildpark-oberreith.de](https://www.wildpark-oberreith.de/infos/anfahrt/))
The directions from various directions are also well described on the website. Coming from Munich, the route leads via the A94 towards Mühldorf/Passau to the exit Hohenlinden/Haag in Upper Bavaria, then via the B12 to Thambach and following the brown signs to the Wildfreizeitpark Oberreith. Alternatively, the route via the B304 is also possible. Coming from Mühldorf, the park recommends the route via Waldkraiburg, Jettenbach, and Mittergars or alternatively via the A94 to Ampfing. From Rosenheim, the route leads via the B15 to Wasserburg am Inn, then via the B304 towards Traunstein to the exit Penzing/Babensham. These instructions are relevant not only for drivers but also for users of navigation or route keywords because they contain real regional reference points and make the route tangible. ([wildpark-oberreith.de](https://www.wildpark-oberreith.de/infos/anfahrt/))
Those arriving by public transport will also find a practical solution. The nearest train station is according to the official site Gars Bahnhof. From there, you can take a taxi to Oberreith or use a 4.3-kilometer hiking trail that takes about an hour to walk. This is particularly interesting for guests who want to combine their visit with a small walk or consciously travel without a car. Overall, the directions page shows that the park is conveniently accessible for both local visitors from the southeastern Bavarian region and guests from Munich, Rosenheim, or Mühldorf. The good signage, the free parking situation, and the clearly described routes make the search term route a real practical topic and not just an SEO cliché. ([wildpark-oberreith.de](https://www.wildpark-oberreith.de/infos/anfahrt/))
Animals, Playground, and Indoor Hall for Families
At its core, the Wildfreizeitpark Oberreith remains an animal and family park. The official animal page describes that visitors can see many different native wild, predatory, and domestic animal species on extensive forest and meadow areas. Rare, endangered old domestic breeds, birds of prey, and poultry are also mentioned. The 2.4-kilometer circular path serves as a nature trail and leads to animal enclosures, aviaries, a pond facility with a biotope, a bee observation house, and a petting zoo. This makes the park not only a place for pure entertainment but also for observation and learning. For parents looking for an outing destination with animals, this combination of nature education and recreational value is attractive. ([wildpark-oberreith.de](https://www.wildpark-oberreith.de/tiere/))
The playground area is much more than just a simple playground. According to the official description, there is a free trampoline facility, two bungees, a huge sun-protected sandpit, a molehill, swings, climbing frames, a carousel, a giant double slide, a group swing, and even misting on hot days. This variety explains why search queries for indoor playgrounds, photos, or family offers are so strong: The park meets several needs in one visit. Children can romp, build, jump, and slide while adults can stay in sight and take a break at the same time. The proximity to the Wildpark-Stub'n further enhances this effect because play and dining are spatially connected. ([wildpark-oberreith.de](https://www.wildpark-oberreith.de/wildpark-1/spielplatz/))
The indoor hall complements this concept perfectly. It is included in the park admission, and only Wildpark socks or anti-slip socks need to be purchased. The official price is 3.00 euros per pair, and the socks are reusable after purchase. The park justifies the requirement with safety and hygiene. Construction of the indoor hall began in September 2018, and it was opened on July 27, 2019. Thus, the indoor area is still young enough to serve as a modern addition to the overall offering while being firmly embedded in the leisure concept. Especially for families with younger children or in changeable weather, the hall is a strong reason not to limit the visit to sunny days. ([wildpark-oberreith.de](https://www.wildpark-oberreith.de/indoorhalle/))
Together with the park railway, the trampoline-bungee facility, and the numerous play options, a very dense family offering emerges. The official homepage describes the park as a place for discovery, play, experience, learning, and relaxation. This formulation captures the character of the park well because it shows that here not only individual attractions stand side by side but a complete day experience is organized. Those traveling with children essentially receive a park that can be both outdoors, indoors, quiet, and active at the same time. This tension makes it a fixed outing classic in Upper Bavaria for many families. ([wildpark-oberreith.de](https://www.wildpark-oberreith.de/))
Treetop Adventure Park, Mega-Fox, and Bird of Prey Show
For visitors seeking more action, the treetop adventure park and Mega-Fox are the main themes. The Treetop Adventure Park Oberreith offers eleven courses at different heights and difficulty levels, according to the official site. The attractions page explains that children from six years old can use three beginner courses and from eight years old, the entire facility can be climbed. In three challenging courses, it goes up to 16 meters high. A special safety system and guidance by trained instructors ensure that the offering remains usable for families with different experience levels. This is particularly important for search queries regarding climbing parks, courses, or prices because it clearly indicates what children and teenagers can actually expect. ([wildpark-oberreith.de](https://www.wildpark-oberreith.de/))
The Mega-Fox is the park's most spectacular individual offering. On the website, it is described as the longest zip line in Upper Bavaria; the ride starts at a height of 35 meters and extends 400 meters over the park grounds to the landing area at the Wildpark Stub'n. The attractions page adds that the observation tower is at the highest point of the area and offers a great view from the Inn hill country to the Alps. For many families, this is the point at which the park clearly goes beyond a classic wildlife park. So, those searching for Flying Fox, Mega Fox, or zip line will find here not a marginal offering but a central experience attraction with real recognition value. ([wildpark-oberreith.de](https://www.wildpark-oberreith.de/))
The falconry is also firmly part of the park's profile. According to the official site, the bird of prey flight shows take place from March 28 to November 8, Tuesday to Sunday, twice daily at 10:30 AM and 2:30 PM; the duration is about one hour and is included in the admission price. Additionally, there is a falconry day for guests aged 12 and over, where birds of prey can be held on the fist, fed, and experienced up close. This significantly expands the search intent around animals, special features, and programs because the park not only shows enclosures but also offers flight demonstrations and direct animal experiences. For families, this is a varied program point that clearly structures the day. ([wildpark-oberreith.de](https://www.wildpark-oberreith.de/falknerei/?utm_source=openai))
It is precisely the combination of zip line, climbing garden, flight show, and wildlife park that makes Wildfreizeitpark Oberreith so versatile. Those who understand the park only as a playground underestimate the offering. Those who read it only as a wildlife park overlook the action offerings. And those who come only for the Mega-Fox miss the quiet paths, animals, and learning stations. For SEO and visitor logic, this is important: The frequent search terms Flying Fox, photos, reviews, and attractions do not stand next to each other by chance but describe exactly this mix of family-friendliness and thrill. In Oberreith, the experience character is not an addition but part of the overall concept. ([wildpark-oberreith.de](https://www.wildpark-oberreith.de/))
Catering, Birthdays, Accessibility, and Dogs
An outing only becomes truly relaxed when the catering is right. In Wildfreizeitpark Oberreith, this is taken care of by the Wildpark-Stub'n. According to the official description, freshly prepared meals and snacks, drinks, cakes, coffee, ice cream, and sweets are available in the restaurant, beer garden, kiosk, and on the rooftop terrace. During the Whitsun to summer holidays, the grill evening opens on Fridays, featuring charcoal grill specialties such as fish on a stick or steaks. There are also separate rooms for celebrations of all kinds, including christenings, communions, weddings, birthdays, or company parties. For many visitors, this is exactly the reason why search queries for menu, birthday, and voucher are so frequent: The park can be very well combined with food and celebrations. ([wildpark-oberreith.de](https://www.wildpark-oberreith.de/gastronomie/unsere-wildpark-stubn/))
Particularly good is the birthday concept for children. The park offers its own birthday packages, table reservations are possible, and the birthday child receives free admission on their special day with proof of age. Additionally, there are package offers with admission, drinks, food, and a small gift. A marble birthday cake, muffins, and a treasure hunt are also listed as extras. This shows that the park is not only a day trip destination but also a fixed address for family celebrations. Those searching for the keyword birthday usually want to have this question answered: Is the place worth it for a celebration? The official site answers it with a clear yes and provides concrete building blocks for planning. ([wildpark-oberreith.de](https://www.wildpark-oberreith.de/kindergeburtstag/?utm_source=openai))
Additionally, there are practical information points that are often more important in everyday life than large attractions. According to the FAQ, the park is accessible; the entire circular path is designed and also accessible for wheelchairs; there are also accessible restrooms. Payment can be made throughout the park with EC and credit cards. Lockers are available in the indoor hall for a deposit of 5 euros, and free Wi-Fi is available on almost the entire premises. However, dogs are not allowed in the park, even on a leash, due to the free-ranging animals on the premises. These notes are particularly important for search queries regarding dogs allowed, directions, weather, and reviews because they make the visit realistic and avoid misunderstandings. ([wildpark-oberreith.de](https://www.wildpark-oberreith.de/infos/faq/))
Overall, the Wildfreizeitpark Oberreith presents a very rounded visitor profile: animals, playground, indoor hall, climbing park, zip line, bird of prey show, catering, and family celebrations interconnect. This is also the reason why the location appears in searches with so many terms, from opening hours and prices to photos and reviews, as well as route and address. Those who plan the day well can experience a rural outing with a lot of variety here without having to worry about complicated organization. This mix of clarity and diversity makes Oberreith a destination that is easily recommended and can be rediscovered in good weather as well as in changeable conditions. The over 2.4-kilometer circular path serves as a nature trail and connects enclosures, aviaries, pond facilities, biotopes, a bee observation house, and a petting zoo.

Reduced tickets are available for people with disabilities, retirees, students, and pupils at a price of 9.90 euros each. Annual passes are also offered: adults pay 75.00 euros, children 66.00 euros.
The Mega-Flying-Fox costs regularly 12.00 euros for individuals between 30 and 120 kilograms and 11.00 euros in conjunction with the treetop adventure park.

This is a clear advantage for families, travel groups, and school trips, as the search for parking is eliminated and the visit can begin directly in a relaxed manner.
Particularly good is the birthday concept for children. Additionally, there are package offers with admission, drinks, food, and a small gift. A marble birthday cake, muffins, and a treasure hunt are also listed as extras. 🌳🦌 Our Favourite Family Escape – Oberreith Wildfreizeitpark! 🦌🌳 We love this place so much. It’s only about an hour’s scenic drive (if you don’t count getting out of Munich traffic 😅), and every visit feels like a mini-vacation. There’s a huge shaded parking lot under the trees. Today it was packed, but no worries – there’s always extra space outside. Inside, there are plenty of food options: one outdoor and two indoor restaurants. Prices are super reasonable, and while the food isn’t anything fancy, it’s good and fresh. The staff are calm and polite, and the local beer is cheaper than in Munich – always a plus 🍺😉. But the real magic is for the kids: ✨ Sand play areas ✨ Petting zoo AND real zoo ✨ Multiple playgrounds ✨ Little train ride ✨ Indoor and outdoor trampolines ✨ Forest trails and giant slides ✨ Huge flying fox zipline …and honestly so much more. All of this for just a bit over 10 EUR per person – an absolute bargain for a full day of fun and nature. My kids are literally growing up here, and every visit gives them something new to discover. Highly recommended for any family wanting a happy, easy, outdoorsy day out without breaking the bank. We can’t wait to come back again soon! 🌲🦢💚

Very nice wildpark for the kids. Lots of activities and since it is a bit far from Munich it is also much quieter than others like Poing. The climbing park is nice, not very challenging for adults but quite well balanced for younger ones.

It was such a pleasant, calming, peaceful experience. Sometimes places like animal parks can be overwhelming but this one was not at all overwhelming. I would love to visit again with my family.

We have had a fabulous day with the children, it is full of farm and forest animals that children can feed with their hands and caress them, it shows that all the animals are very well cared for. There are lots of games for children and a zip line that crosses the entire park, a very nice mini train that you can go up to with the children and go around the park. We have had a wonderful day. We will be back!

Awesome day out for adults and kids. Combine a trek through pristine Bavarian Forest with animal petting and all kinds of fun adventure activities for all ages along the way. Our 3 year old loves it and we did too! We visited on a weekday just after the schools in Bavaria were back and we were pretty much the only ones there. Animals are extremely well cared for in generous enclosures. We’ll be back!
