An OK venue, but seems to be the main choice for medium-sized bands. Queues to enter can be extremely long, so be sure to arrive extra early to not miss opening acts. The camera stand has a bunch of wires that make the view worse. The sides have pillars blocking the view too... So yeah, not my first choice, but as mentioned, it's difficult to avoid it (5x this year). At least prices for food and drinks aren't too bad.

They’ve got a very unnecessary barricade for the first 20 rows. You’ve gotta come early if you wanna get in this zone (if there are no extra golden circle tickets sold…). Queue in front of the toilets can be long. The venue itself is pretty long instead of wide. It gets really packed. Honestly - can’t recommend. But if the artist plays it. What you gotta do? Not attend? :P

Do not watch metal concert in Zenith! The sound is horrible, even 3 hours after the show I feel uncomfortable because of the messy and way too loud sounding. We went there to see Epica, and I feel sorry for them because we needed to leave. The acoustics are not absorbing anything from the interference, around 2000-5000 hertz is really cutting. It was literally so loud that even in the very back of the whole place my jacket was vibrating from the bass sound pressure. During the sound setup I clearly heard how the sound engineer messes up the snare, and the guitar which sounded like a chainsaw or a machine instead of a musical instrument. My apple watch constantly warned me to leave because of dangerous sound levels. We were walking around to find a spot but there was no! Even in the back it was around 120 decibels. Way too much to not feel uncomfortable. After the warming up and during the second performer, we decided to maybe sit a bit in the car to relax our ears, but there was no chance to go out and come back again. We were told that we cannot come back if we go out… The security did not care that we wanted a break. They sent us to the smoking area to where of course those bad interferenced mid-range frequencies escaped so it was also not a big relief. And it was very cold. So without being able to see the highlight of the night, Epica, we decided to leave. I don't even know why I expect that they are able to mix symphonic metal in Zenith which has maybe the worst acoustics I have ever experienced. Sorry! :(

I was at the Bloc Party concert. I was shocked by the sound quality. Honestly, I think it was the worst sound I’ve ever heard at a concert by a well-known artist. I’ve been to a lot of concerts, and this was the first time the sound felt more like torture than enjoyment. It literally sounded like the artists were singing from inside a tin can — or maybe even from a toilet. I even had to walk around the venue trying to find a spot where it sounded at least somewhat better. First, I was standing center stage around the 8th row. Then I moved to the left side, then to the back near that big black wall-screen, then to the right. You know where the sound was best? Behind that black screen on the side (which, by the way, divided the venue in half). Literally if you're already leaving, you can hear a normal sound. I have absolutely no idea how they managed to make the sound that terrible, but the vocals were barely audible (completely lacking clarity), and it felt like the midrange frequencies were just gone. I get that this kind of setup might work for a lo-fi or shoegaze concert — but not Bloc Party. I won’t even get into the constantly buzzing mic during the first half of the show. And all of this happened despite the 10–15 people on stage adjusting equipment before the concert started. If this is how the sound always is at concerts here, I’m not coming back. I see a lot of reviews here about the terrible sound, but apparently the owners don't care. Very sad for Munich. I also want to note that they sent me a notification by email that the doors were open from 19:00, and the concert started at 20:00. In the end, the show started at 21:00, we stood for at least an hour waiting. Light show, security, amount of drinks are good. I was also able to pay by a card for a bun at a kiosk.
