Munich on Wednesday: Warm, dry and mostly cloudy

Munich will experience calm early summer weather on Wednesday, May 27: It will remain dry, the sky will be mostly cloudy, with occasional short sunny intervals possible. It will also be warm – exactly how warm depends on the underlying forecast: Some forecasts mention peak values around 29 degrees, while the German Weather Service (DWD) sees the maximum values for the Munich region more in the mid-20s. A deterioration in the weather with rain is not expected during the day.

The day starts mostly cloudy, but already mild. In the morning, temperatures in the city area are around 18 degrees depending on the location, and later in the morning it will quickly become significantly warmer. The wind initially blows from the west.

As the morning progresses, short clear spells are possible again and again, but overall the cloudy impression remains dominant. Rain is not expected.

By midday and in the afternoon, there is little change in the general weather situation: It remains dry and warm. Depending on the model, maximum values of about 25 to 29 degrees are reached. The wind turns to northwest during the day and remains mostly moderate.

Dry and warm – even without much sun

What stands out this Wednesday is above all the stability: Despite many clouds, it reliably remains dry. This is crucial for planning the day – an umbrella will not be needed according to the forecast.
