When Natural Laws Suddenly Get Out of Tune
On Friday, October 30, 2026, Michael Sachs and Georg Eggers will transform the James-Krüss-Elementary School in Gilching into a scientific cabinet full of music, humor, and surprising experiments. Their satirical song evening Law of Nature and Order connects ordered mathematics, piano, natural law physics, and singing into an unusual concert experience.
Between Quantum Mechanics and Schlager Music
In science and technology, it seems everything follows an unshakeable logic. Sachs and Eggers put this order to the test, searching for gaps in natural laws, loopholes, and surprising transitions between precise research and human everyday life. Among other things, it raises the question of whether artificial intelligence can solve all of humanity's problems or whether a household device can genuinely see into the future.
Powerpoints, Experiments, and Musical Precision
The stage performance follows the proven concept of the series The Physics of Failure: Animated Powerpoints meet risky freehand experiments and self-composed Schlager music. Between piano accompaniment, singing, and pointed explanations, an unusual orchestration of science satire and live music emerges.
An Evening with Its Own Dramaturgy
The normal distribution and quantum mechanics also play a role – not just in the lecture hall but in social life. The interplay of scientific vocabulary, musical timing, and intentional failure creates an audience atmosphere where insight and laughter are closely intertwined. Each attempt follows an idea, but not every idea conforms to the expected outcome.
Conclusion: Science to Marvel At and Sing Along
Visitors can expect an approximately two-hour evening featuring satirical songs, piano, singing, experiments, and visual presentations. Those who enjoy viewing science with humor and wish to experience an unusual stage performance will find in Gilching a concert format beyond classical categories. Mark the date now and experience Law of Nature and Order live.
