Chris Kläfford brings his big voice to the Munich Ampere

On Monday, November 9, 2026, Chris Kläfford will perform with his 2026 tour at Ampere in Muffatwerk. The Swedish singer-songwriter combines soulful pop anthems, folky melodies, and intimate acoustic moments into a concert experience with direct proximity to the audience.

Smoky voice, honest songs, and strong emotions

Kläfford stands with his guitar for songs about love, loss, and life. His distinctive, smoky voice carries both reduced ballads and gospel-like pop moments, giving each song a special emotional tension. In Ampere, these intense sound colors meet the concentrated live atmosphere of one of the most popular club rooms in Muffatwerk.

From Swedish Idol to international stages

Chris Kläfford achieved breakthrough success by winning Swedish Idol in 2017. In 2019, he reached the semifinals of America's Got Talent as a highly regarded contestant. His debut album Maybe It’s Just Me was released in 2023 by Universal. Following this, in 2025, he released an album with a folk-melodic orientation and clear influences from Nashville titled What I’m Running From.

Kitchen Sessions and the art of approachable performance

Through his YouTube series Kitchen Sessions, Kläfford became known to a global audience. In the sessions, he presents his own songs and cover versions in a reduced acoustic setting, often accompanied only by his guitar. This directness also shapes his stage performance: clear arrangements, strong melody guidance, and a sound that leaves room for voice and text.

An evening between acoustic and full stage effect

The concert at Ampere promises a varied dramaturgy of quiet, personal moments and more powerful passages. Between folk, singer-songwriter pop, and emotional rock proximity, a live situation emerges where every nuance of orchestration and every movement of the voice remains palpable. The intimate spatial effect of Ampere supports the immediate audience atmosphere.
